I love simulators, preferably the ones done by Intamin with open air cars and huge dome screens. There is a lot of possibility to be imaginative and immersive with a ride like that

The 'drop' on looney tunes was like going down a hill in a car.

As great as some of the great work DW has done of late, the train ride this afternoon served as a great illustration of closed attractions. The 'presenter' over the speakers spent all their time talking about what was closed. 3:30ish boarded at Central Station Stop 1: 'Billabong' "this stop is where you'll find our newly refurbished restaurant, which is currently closed for the day, but is open 11:30-2 daily'. This is also home ABC4Kids world which is great for the kids to run around, but has closed for today, as had Motorcoaster. These rides close at 3:30 mon-fri. Hopefully you can come back another day and take advantage of these attractions." Stop 2: 'Corroboree' "Australian & indigenous animals speil. This is also the best stop for our Vintage Cars attraction, which is currently closed due to off peak season. The ride only operates on Weekends Stop 3: 'Rocky Hollow' "this is the stop for one of DW's original attractions, the RHLR. The ride is currently closed for scheduled maintenance." on the last stretch, she announced "just a friendly reminder of our current attractions closures" then listed Wipeout, Big Red Car, Vintage Cars & RHLR, ABC4Kids & MDMC again, and then repeated them, again. "Sorry for the inconvenience caused". Wow.
