People actually went and saw that? From what I have heard it was quite crap. I quite enjoyed Finding Nemo, Shrek and The Incredibles, but what seems to be a musical with penguins does not really interest me. I can see it changing back into Harry Potter if there is a new movie coming out soon.

Can we get back on topic people! If you have a look there actually does appear to be a window. For those of you having a go at the appearance of it you might want to look up the meaning of the word "shack" as you will find it is a "small crude shelter used as a dwelling", so of course it will be an eyesore and look ugly as that is what shacks are.

Has anyone done anything else to this park yet? I have done some work to it. I am using it more as a workbench to build an alternative park to the real thing. There is a lot of work to do even just for an accurate recreation. A couple of shots of what I have done with the park: Lethal Weapon Area Shrek 4D Building Overview from a distance Looking towards LW/WWW Towards the centre from the Western area. Aerial shot from the park entrance. Some of the rides will be moved/removed as I get more of the park done. Looking at moving the Boomerang and Discus to another area of the park to keep in with the real park.

When I was there easier this year the movie was indeed in 3D and it was an awesome experience. Much better than what I had expected. Will be doing it next time I am there.

Last time I checked Foxtel was limited to Metropolitan areas whereas Austar is mainly regional. Where I am you can only get Austar to my knowledge unless you can get Foxtel via Satellite/Wireless.

All of the files and custom scenery that I have downloaded have had no problems with viruses and worms.

Going by what is posted on http://www.movieworld.com.au/rides_attract....cfm?ride_id=18 it is changed again to being closed from the 8th to the 16th February for annual maintenance.

I already have both a Wii and a 360. I will not be getting a PS3 as $999 for one console is not worth it when you consider there are NO PS3 exclusive games released on it at the moment. I see this thing as a ploy to get Blu-ray into peoples homes with a games console added on. I recently got a gold subscription to XBOX Live for my 360 and it is one of the most easiest things to setup, even easier if you already have a .NET Passport. Sony has a lot of catching up to do with their online services. Got a feeling it will be either the Wii or the 360 that will be superior this time around. It is good to see Nintendo release a product that has such high demand the only way of getting one now is to order one. I am yet to get any of these games, but would really like to get Mario Kart 64 and Sonic the Hedgehog. Hopefully they will release the rest of the Sonic games onto VC.

It has been down now for quite some time hopefully it does not get removed unless it is being replaced with something worthy of the space that it occupies. I was most disappointed that it was not running last time I was there as it is a great ride.

I was at Movie World today and I found that it was not actually the roughness of the ride that is the problem, it is the restraint and how hard the "padded" part of it is (the part where your ears/head are near/hit). Either padding them with something that is actually soft or refitting with the alternative style restraints (as seen in this thread at http://www.parkz.com.au/forums/in...st&p=39295) would help to fix this problem. For those wondering LW was basically walk on today and I only went on it once due to the experience. Both trains were running (red one was cycling empty when I was at LW). When I went in 2003 it was way more enjoyable than what it was today.

I got to have a go on one up here at Myer in the Myer Centre Brisbane. Only got to play the tennis game, but it was something unique. I would have liked to try the Bowling game but did not have the time. For something that costs $400 it is well worth the money, not only is it fun but actually requiring physical activity is a great thing for computer games these days. Until I saw it I also did not realise how small it is. I already have a XBOX 360 and would considering getting a Wii too. But yeah, if you see one, make sure you take the time to go and have a try, don't knock it unless you have tried it. It is rather unusual at first, but playing a tennis game using real movements is somewhat better than just hitting buttons. I was at Dreamworld today and could see what could be the recording of promotional material for the waterpark. I managed to get some shots of the park today (sorry about the Cyclone parts in the pics). Almost all of the slides were in operation today to the closed audience. Update Pics

That would have to be the best news I have heard all day. Now I am looking foward to my DW trip on Sunday even more.

For $185 I would expect unlimited entry to both DW and WWW with no crap about not being able to use the pass during school holidays. Raising prices just because it is "that time of year" again I think is not a justifiable excuse. Even if another attraction was to be put in I still do not think that the raise of the entrance price is justified, by putting in the new attractions you are getting more visitors which would mean more money. With the prices that things are these days you would think that lowering the price of the entrance fee to attract more visitors would in the long term make more money for the park due to increased patronage. I know if it was only $45-$50 I would go to DW and MW I would go more often in the year. It might be a risk to take but it could end up being a good thing in the end, even if it was only for 1 or 2 years as a trial.

Dammit, another decent attraction closed when I go there later this month! First time going to the park in over 3 years and to find out that the Drop and now Eureka is closed makes me even more disappointed.

I am going to say Wipeout, have no opinion of The Claw yet as I am yet to ride it.

In capital cities it is, regional viewers get ACA on at 7pm due to local news. Getting back ontopic even if they aired it at 11pm or midnight there would still be still people complaining. If big brother was aired on SBS there would probally be less people complaining about BB Uplate.
