  1. Any chance you can share a photo of the times, considering the old one was supposed to be until the 18th I wonder if they have simply decided the 13th is now when they wish to end the peak entertainment schedule.
  2. It really depends, I often use single rider on DCR and it saves a ton of time. But with groups choosing to use it because they will get on faster it can be longer (depending on the ride op). Just prior to christmas running two trains the general que was just at the bottom of the ramp, whilst single rider had 8 people, got on much faster using general.
  3. On the other side too. Regarding opening, I heard still a few weeks.
  4. New Batmobile and Costume coming to MW soon, was previewed at Metricon during BBL.
  5. I honestly thought it was very clear it wouldn’t likely be ready for Boxing Day considering that date has not been publicised. Unfortunetly the billboard Push mentioned (and I have seen a similar one on the tourism kiosk in Queen St Mall) implies it is open now.
  6. It's possible to love theme parks and still hold them to account push. Entering peak period with so many rides out of action is ridiculous and Parkz is not being unsupportive of the GC tourism industry for calling them out in my opinion.
  7. He indeed is still there, just not illuminated or vocal. There is another Scooby in the same state on your left as you enter the final room.
  8. Considering they are not confident enough to even advertise Dec 26 as the opening date yet I think soft openings prior is unluckily.
  9. I was there and am in some of those photos I’m sure so am just giving my perspective and some facts. Staff informed guests they were not allowed to que prior to rope drop and I did not witness anyone pushing in front of others from 9:49am when I arrived. Not eventually, it happend quickly. Considering the ride was still cycling (not ready for guests) when everyone was admitted into the que I think it shows MW did notice. I agree that the marketing could have been better but operationally it was not as much of a mess as your post portrayed in my opinion.
  10. Not quite as much of a mess as @Slick has portrayed. Just to counter and clarify. Nobody was pushing anyone, VRTP staff clearly said the ride wouldn’t be operating yet prior to dropping the rope. The ride closed sign was there immediately after rope drop, and staff at the front of the ride.were informing guests it would open at some point today, would likely be a couple of hours. People were suggested to try other open attractions but nobody was prevented from waiting around. Staff were around answering queries until approximently 11:05 when matinance staff exited and it appeared closer to opening at which point they were at the usual entry host position at the top of the stairs. At this point the people scattered around the entry point formed a line and a crowd quickly built. A staff informed the line to move to the side of the path rather than block it. This photo was taken at 11:10
  11. Yep, still cycling at present. Second half of the castle que appeared to be closed off as I walked through too.
  12. Dreamworld have slightly extended hours from the 27th, from the e-news sent today.
  13. Worth noting these are permanent installations rather than the temporary ones they usually have. Also there are two.
  14. Hotdog fans rejoice, for the stand has returned for the summer holidays. For @Slick and other fans of just the tip a
  15. The “train” Dreamworld are currently operating is referred to as a tractor by train enthusiasts as it runs on a John Deere motor. Personally I wouldn’t mind this “train” as much if it had the power to run three full carriages, or if for the summer holidays the Baldwin also ran to provide extra campacity.
  16. It was mentioned in the monthly e-news/passholder newsletter for November.
  17. The three day pass (3 parks) also has had a $10 price rise to $129. Will be interesting to see if the increased One Pass cost sticks around after the holidays.
  18. Purchasing a new annual pass through ride "ambassador" ExperienceOz seems to get you some ERT.
