I waited 2 hours for Arkham Asylum when it first opened because I had never been on it as LW. And I waited 1.5 hours in the fast pass line for Flying Dinosaur at Universal Japan. But they are the longest queues I can recall. I have waited for an hour with friends on rides like SE and Scooby, but that’s about it.

Went on Sky Voyager this morning for my second eve ride. My first ride (last year) I was too left gondola, but today I was middle bottom. I remember reading this was the best spot and it definitely was. It was such a great spot to ride and really immerses you into the ride. I love this ride. For some reason, it makes me feel emotions. I don’t know if it’s the soundtrack or just the imagery, but wow. The experience for me is just so good. I do wish the screen went over you as well, because seeing the black roof is a shame. The edging between each piece of the screen is visible (not sure if it always has been or is getting worse) and I wish the video was at a higher quality. It is great footage, but I feel like to make the experience would be improved more if it was better quality.

Bumping up a topic here, but what I’m about to tell you all is very important. If you have never used them, I highly recommend. When you next visit Dreamworld, use the toilets in tiger island. They are the best theme park toilets on the Gold Coast. They are so so clean and the best themed toilets I’ve been to. Nearly every detail has been considered to make them fit the theme of tiger island. This precinct for me is still the best themed and well done area in any theme park on the Gold Coast. Areas like Castaway Bay, Villains precinct, Dreamworks and Nickelodeon are all great, but there is something about the whole Tiger Island area that I alway love visiting and looking at all the details.

I doubt a licensed pilot would create a channel and only post videos of the construction of a coaster. If DW have approval, they would probably want to use the footage and wouldn’t just let someone capture the construction for no reason. When Slick worked for the park and captured drone footage, all the shots were not taken over the park, they were from a distance when there was no one in the park. This guy hasn’t got a commercial license and is just doing it for themselves.

The last time he made a big statement was before the announcement of Atlantis, and it didn’t disappoint. The fact he’s gone onto a Facebook group and made this statement, I’m expecting something big. I’m expecting what ever it is, I’d say it will replace AA and maybe even use some of the extra land back there. The guy who commented the Harry Potter exhibit, Bikash replied ‘that’s small with what will happen over time’. Maybe we will see something Harry Potter related? I know universal own the rights, but MW could buy a license and have it too. Maybe it will be a multi stage development and will create global attention

It is legit because that is Bikash’s Facebook account and he is the COO. But he has talked up announcements before and they have been underwhelming. However, I’m confident this time. Im exciting something to do with WnW, MW 30th birthday stuff and potentially an AA replacement (earlier in the year, the park stated that an announcement would be made later in the year)

I’m very curious to know how they move a coaster train across the park. It seems like it is possible and something they do. But what system and how do they do so? Do they seperate each carriage and move them individually?

I don’t think they would have a rivals train in the super man maintenance bay. Rivals has its own maintenance bay, so what you saw might have just been the superman train

As a kid I love the pre show for Looney Tunes. The different rooms, sets and story of making your way through the studio and then drilling your way through the earth to begin the journey to finding bugs Batmans preshow actually made up most of the ride and without it, the ride would have almost been nothing. I actually enjoyed the pre show more than the simulator ride itself.

The area just north of leviathan was for a rumoured fourth attraction for the precinct. But was apparently cancelled or delayed. So one day we may see another ride installed in the area. There is also all the land for where sea viper used to be
