Last day of the season today, was quite busy. Inferno wasn't working. Nothing photo worthy, though quite a few staff were openly talking about the new ride being a "big swing" and "64 seats"

They need to change the kraken sign at the bottom of the hill it still says 2-4 riders. A sign on the wooden queue barriers as you first get to the top of the hill previously had black tape covering the 2 rider option but that had been ripped off last week also.

Made it a hattrick today but without the circus. Even less people, guess people have other things to do on new years eve.

Yeah it will get busier for sure. Kahuna Cafe was open a bit later today , we got the donuts around 6ish i think.

Went back again today Circus on point again. 4pm-7pm is a goldmine , no queues for anything. Even had the pool to ourselves for the last 30 minutes. Bought donuts, a photo and also rented a locker to provide some income during the extra trading hours. Felt like there was more staff than patrons there.

Only went to Adventure World and Universal Studios Singapore this year and probably stretching it a little calling a couple of these coasters but.. 1. Revenge of the Mummy 2. Abyss 3. Canopy Flyer 4. Battlestar Galactica Human 5. Sesame Street Spaghetti Space Chase 6. Enchanted Airways 7. Puss in Boots 8. 9. 10.

I went to AW today from 2pm to 7pm. Cirque Extreme is a great crowd absorber as the carparks were full but the park didn't seem full when i entered, went on some slides and the lines were really short. Then at about 2:45pm saw the crowd piling out of the tent and the park felt busier. Went to the 4pm show, nothing much i can add to iwerks review... the show is great. I recommend getting to the tent approx 15-20 minutes before show time to guarantee you a spot not only in the queue inside the tent but also to the show itself ! the show had very few spare seats and a heap of people had to queue outside in the sun (not that it was too hot today) After the show nothing in the park was more than a 10 minute wait and that was Kraken. After about 45 minutes everything was a walk on including Abyss which we did a few times right at the end. Still feeling the effects lol. Park is in great condition.

27,000,000 riders over 37 years is very efficient ride operations Assuming 37 years x 365 days = 13,505 days of operation 27,000,000 riders divided by 13,505 days = approx 2000 riders per day Assuming the park operated 10am to 5pm on all of the 13,505 days = 2000/7 = approx 285 riders per hour Assuming 4 people went off in a boat each time = 285/4 = approx 71 boats per hour 71/60 = 1.2 boats fully loaded leaving the station every minute constantly for life of the ride Yeah i know there are leap years and days of closure and varying opening hours and maintenance periods and every other variable but i am bored and 27,000,000 leapt out at me as a crazy number plucked out of thin air. If the number is even remotely close then they are going to have to come up with a super ride to absorb all those people over the next 37 years.

Only because i am a fan of both shows and they crossover a lot, with the coasters next to each other it just sits well in my head. I agree no reason from a park operations perspective to retheme GL (unless to remove some of the stigma about it being unsafe...people are stupid and a name change is enough for some people to think something is new)
