  1. in Theme Park Ogre’s new video it can be seen that Flash’s LSM’s have been removed, this seems like a theme with the construction process.
  2. didn’t Surfrider have a 140cm height restriction? I think if they moved it to Sea World instead they would’ve had to figure out a way they could bring the height restriction down, like getting new trains cause as we have seen (Vortex) 140cm height restrictions don’t work at this park.
  3. I will say both Dreamworld and WWW seem to be the busiest i have seen them in a long time, with the park being slammed today especially. Dreamworld (imo) along with Sea World are the top 2 parks on the coast, Movie World has lost its magic and there isn't much to do besides rides that are always broken down. I think once rivertown opens up it'll solidify the parks place as one of Australia's best parks.
  4. WWF is also closed for what i assume will be filtering out the water and / or dealing with fallen trees within the rides envelope. not sure if this is to do with the storms or not (most likely not) but Green Lantern is also closed with a train parked at the bottom of the lift hill with red tape around that section of the ride.
  5. Considering current construction and investment as 'Phase 1' of the Dreamworld Overhaul, i think there will be 2 other phases. My perfect idea for the next two phases includes; Phase 2: 2025 - 2026 - new thrilling flat ride added into the old Wipeout plot of land. As much as the seating area looks nice, the area needs a ride in its place. Move the seating area over ugly empty space outside the surf central retail outlet. Anyways for what type of ride, they could put in a Zamperla Endeavour for the nostalgic Reef Diver route, or something like a Fabbri Rides Spider. pretty much any unique, inverting and reliable flat ride would work well. - Zamperla Nebulaz added into K&B Dreamland, you could either add this at the entrance into the area next to Belinda's Tree House or re-route KFF Queue so the ride can be nestled in the back (next to Humpty Go Round) - Motocoaster retheme with Quadbike style trains (similar to Juvelen's trains.) Completely replace the current station with an indoor station that fits in with the rest of the land's theme and have the launch go through a themed tunnel. The new colour scheme could be dark green track, brown supports. Motocoaster would close in the middle of 2025 and reopen towards the end of 2026. Phase 3 - 2027 / 2028 - A new Mack Watercoaster located in the back of Ocean Parade where the vacant Trolls and Kevil Hill attractions sit. With this being Dreamworld's first new water ride since the incident, having a ride model the public are already familiar with and enjoy is a safe choice. This coaster would open in Q4 of 2027, preferably before summer hits. - New big thrill coaster stretching from the RHLR area to the Blue Lagoon / Big Brother house area. I think a coaster such as an Intamin Mega Coaster (like Kondaa at Walibi Belgium) or a GCI Woodie would work really well and compliment ST well as the headlining coasters. The Station / Queue area and brake run could be in the RHLR area due to its close proximity to the Corroboree animals (less noisy without a train zooming past) with the rest of the coaster stretching out into the Blue Lagoon area of the park, with it going right up against both ST and the road leading into the park making it eye catching to guests driving into the park. This coaster would open towards the end of 2028. These additions would flesh out and beef up Dreamworld's ride line up, with the attraction count coming up to 27 (including JR, MM and the removal of the current Vintage Cars.) The 27 attractions include; Coasters: 8 (2 thrill, 5 family, 1 kids) Thrilling Flats: 5 Family / Kids flats: 7 + Seabed Splash, Banana's Fun Maze, Belinda's Tree House, Deep Sea Dodgems, Dreamworld Express, Murrissipi Motors and Sky Voyager.
  6. more big storms are meant to hit later this afternoon, if that’s the damage on the outside of the parks i wonder what it’s like in the inside. i won’t be shocked if they remained closed tomorrow as well.
  7. i still can’t believe they were going with a 60m tall funtime star flyer and we ended up with what we got.
  8. I noticed it at the top of storm the other day, the area is decently sized and considering how Atlantis’s themed path continues exactly into the direction of this plot of land, it would not surprise me at all if this is a new flat being added into the area. The construction area and the concrete pad itself are too big for just a toilet block, it would also be very random to add a new toilet block so far out of reach from the current guest areas without adding a new attraction.
  9. the quality of the event has definitely decreased significantly, you’d think that with them charging so much more then they use to the offering and overall event quality would be better then what it is. they just see it as another after park event that brings in even more money and they don’t really try to hide it.
  10. from what i’ve heard (quote me if i’m wrong) most of if not all of the track in the disco room section of the ride, including the lift, will be replaced. lower stress sections such as the dark ride portion should remain as is. Work hasn’t started in the ride at all so my guess would be the ride is going to open in the later half of 2025.
  11. signage such as ride safety information and the wait time board have now been installed. credit: JaggsJourneys
  12. Flash’s LSM’s have now all been installed, i wonder when we’ll see the train on the track. credit: Jaggsjourneysau
  13. Considering Green Lantern has been getting stuck on the set of block’s after the drop and the set of blocks after the stall, at the same time, by the end of the day for the past couple of days, and Doomsday is Doomsday, it won’t last long.
  14. considering two Wicked movies are coming out between now and the end of 2025, both starring Ariana Grande, the land will basically be getting free promotion. even if you haven’t seen the movie, you know about it, and it calls out to so many generations that will want to see their childhoood come to life. Wizard of Oz was a very smart choice.
  15. i’ve noticed in some videos you can hear the rides brakes engaging as the trains heading towards them but the train doesn’t actually catch on, so it goes backwards back down the tower so it can make its way back up to be caught at a lower position. from what i’ve heard it’s not that uncommon. did the ride ever do this at Dreamworld? i wonder why it is now.
  16. *atleast when i was there* lifeguards were swapping in and out. one lifeguard would come down from HC and manage the queue as the life guard managing the queue would go back up to HC, then it happened with GR lifeguard ect. some however did swap out then leave. it’s worse waiting down there with no shade standing on the hot concrete tbh.
  17. a couple weeks ago i overheard a staff member say to guests who asked about the ride that it won’t reopen due to “it not being safe.” i wonder what issues the ride was having but atleast the stairs are manageable to wait on now. speaking about waiting, does anyone know why they’re still lining up guests at the bottom of the staircase for both the Hydrocoaster and Green Room? it’s such a slow and useless change, it just wastes a staff member. The same day bro and rip were alternating operational periods, couldn’t the staff used to manage that line be used to actually operate the slides?
  18. correct, hence why i put the (shown below) next to the part about work being done under the station.
  19. The yellow half of Flash’s track has been put back up overnight. track was supposedly removed to do some work underneath the rides station (pictured below.) (Jaggsjourneys)
  20. redoing SV’s facade would be a waste of money, it’s not as bad as everyone on here makes it out to be, especially with DF now there. The back half of Ocean Parade with Flowrider, Trolls Village and the old Zombie Evilution building as well as the old RHLR area is much more of a priority.
  21. hence why i called it stupid💋 slapping “worlds / southern hemisphere first” on a ride makes it more marketable to the GP (as they aren’t going to read into it) no one understands why they need to do it on every announcement.
  22. technically they’re claiming to be the first in the southern hemisphere, so if they meant coaster within another coaster technically they’re right. but it’s a stupid thing either way, just like how the Vekoma SFC was announced as the worlds first Multi-Type coaster.
  23. to me they looked like ties when i skimmed photos and saw in person but seems like bars when proper looking at it. i ain’t an engineer at all so was just sharing what i saw
