I agree you can't keep everything, but with something as iconic (even to a small degree) as ride signs I think you should do what you can to preserve them. As Gazza said, some parks publicly display their past, ranging from small displays (Europa Park) to full on museums (Cedar Point). Universal even has a shop in Islands of Adventure where they sell old Park items directly to the public. What would I do with it? Put it up for auction, either for profit or charity? Donate it? Reuse it down the line? Even putting it out the back would be an option. Would give the employees something it look at. 😜 At least give the options a go before heading to the skip. That's all I ask.

Is it back to being free? Last I checked the option was disabled and replaced with "pay xxx to get on now!"

Were there meant to be more episodes? I was under the impression that was it, as the last episode was filmed shortly before Covid closed the UK parks.

Here's a few pics from Roadrunner. Noticed a big box from Vekoma with some interesting info... some work was being done on the lift hill, too. It often gets queue times wrong. Once it had WWF at 40 mins all day when it was actually walk on... anyhow, both Doomsday and Superman were completely closed today. Doomsday in particular had at least 5 maintenance workers on it... seems like they're really trying to get it open quickly.

The building by the Log Flume (Cafe/Photo Booth) got completely demolished this evening by a digger. Was quite sad... Will upload a video later tonight.

An underwater themed Mad House at SW could be amazing if done properly. I could see them tying it in to New Atlantis... A trip to the "Old" Atlantis perhaps?

The chap who played Austin Powers was always fantastic! I miss seeing him around the park.

Difference here is that the hotel guests will (presumably) know what they're getting into. I don't think the Disney parks with in built hotels get many complaints! 😜

I know you didn't come here to be bombarded with questions @Bikash Randhawa, but I'm very interested to know if anything's happening with Surfrider at Wet 'n Wild? It's a shame seeing a coaster be SBNO like that, especially when it's relatively rare model. If its future at WNW is in question I know a lot of us here would love to see it back at Sea World where it was originally intended. Anyway, I'm very interested in seeing what VRTP has planned for us this year and beyond. Based on your comments I'm optimistic!

I think Dreamworld ultimately does better theming than VRTP - those toilets prove it! I'm interested in seeing the final result for Steel Taipan... Dreamworld Toilet thread? Let's go! 😜 Whenever it's open, the toilets in the Convention building are great! The pair up the steps to the right were always completely deserted (and clean!) during the Lego show, even when it was busy during the school holidays.

Went on Superman today and it definitely looked like the Rivals train was in the matinence room, all disassembled and spread about. Even during a launch the Mack style is easy to spot! 😜 Doomsday was testing frequently. Noticed no activity on Spaceshot.
