  1. Again WWF was not open for last years night time events so this is not surprising or new.
  2. I've officially cancelled the pissing contest from this thread. As for the SE discussion, sounds like there is no right person to me. By your own admission Alex you sound like you did simply state you were waiting. General politeness is always to ask. And I've certainly seen staff react the same way to enthusiasts who tend to tell them how to do their jobs.
  3. WWF was not open for fright nights last year either.
  4. I don't actually like the "MUST ride" nature of the survey. Because there are plenty of things I will regularly ride but they aren't MUSTS every time I walk in the door...
  5. Yes and no, modern (Real D) 3d cinemas are only using a single projector with a digital polariser so you don't have two lenses to align. However these projectors are set up to be able to move the polariser in and out of the optical path so you can show a standard 2D feature. If the polariser was not moved back to the correct position then this could be the problem.
  6. I honestly think we should wait and see the success of the Justice League ride and if so another dark ride (but non shooter just themed) could be the best choice for the looney tunes building. The space is huge so there easily room for en entire ride with plenty left over and the other benefit of a dark ride is they are relatively low maintenance compared to the mechanical upkeep of a coaster or water ride.
  7. It's definately not going to be mon tues, that would be rediculous. The fan boy pages make me giggle. It's definately not going to be mon tues, that would be rediculous. The fan boy pages make me giggle.
  8. It actually looks perfectly fine when viewed from the courtyard. It's the weird angle playing havoc here.
  9. Care to substantiate or justify these pretty harsh claims?
  10. I actually like buzzsaw. It's a pretty intense ride. It just shouldn't have been the one major attraction the park got for such a long period. I honestly think the best ride at movieworld will change in just a few weeks.
  11. No it's pretty much been proven that without fast past the wait times are MUCH shorter. Exact reasons why many rides had it removed a it was actually CAUSING a line. You take a ride like pirates at DL which when running a full capacity basically has a continuously moving line and you start to see the holes in fast pass.
  12. Wacky has got to be X. Doesnt get more messed up than that. I feel bad for arrow because if that concept had been reliable we'd likely see those all over the place rather than all the wing riders going in.
  13. ^yep I have no problem with what you said or did. As I also feel you're entitled to your opinion on sharing a raft and I think it's a valid one.
  14. Seriously people FFS. For one I'd love to see you come out from your computer screen and actually hurl insults at someone in real life to their face, no you wouldn't so don't bring that shit onto here. Second, on the flip side, wtf is wrong with the world today that every time someone hears something negative about themselves they go crying to a moderator to delete the post. Neither side of this situation is in the right, everyone should just grow up and act like respectable adults. And I don't care if you're NOT an adult you are still more that able to act like one.
  15. Hmmm not long to go to find out. Personally I'm hoping for something far beyond what any of us are expecting.
  16. This is the problem, everything is now compared to the other passes which are too cheap so everything seems expensive. The public have been spoiled.
  17. Lol cheap to move the studios?? They're not just Tin Sheds. They are massive buildings complete with huge amounts of Air Con, Power and fire suppression infrastructure. Add to that Paradise Country is a very profitable property for the company.
  18. Perhaps we should wait until the website is actually online before worrying about complaining about the content of said unpublished website. How unlike the enthusiast community to run off half cocked with sketchy info
  19. You'll see the canopy is back up. What I meant was better the ride stay open with no canopy than sit closed for the duration the canopy was missing.
  20. Just a refurb I think you'll find. Better that they keep the ride running without the canopy rather than close it for the duration.
  21. Construction costs alone would be huge there as there is no access. A fair bit of chopper work was required for the scenicender and I'm imagining this project will be no different.
  22. I believe it would likely be a new train and control system... but that's mostly speculation on my part.
  23. Its the lift hills. They need to be themed and incorporated somehow, just like Bermuda did.
  24. See of those two POVs I'd prefer the second because at least it's just a nicely themed ride. Surely no one can tell me that have ANY idea what was going on with the Atlantis ride? It makes no sense at all. Both rides suffer the same design problem though in that they are... Theming, Theming, Theming, Unthemed lift hill, coaster portion, splash, theming, repeat. There is no reason for the lifts and coaster portion in the ride story. To tie all of the ride together would make a great ride. Look at Splash Mountain.
