  1. Maybe I am wrong here, but I would assume the rooves they added to the log ride were a safety addition, not theming like we are seeing on Murrisippi Motors. Worst case scenario they just take the rooves off. We also don't know if the car on track is even the final product, maybe that roof structure is just to test clearances around the track before they bring down the properly themed cars?
  2. Maybe the original electric cars they planned had rooves and so they designed their concept around it. In the QLD sun I'm sure families would appreciate a roof
  3. Ardent Stock was around $2.80 at the time of the accident, dropped to around $2 after. Continued dropping down $1.49 In January 2019. Dropped to $0.13 with due to Covid, back up to $1.70 in November 2021, then dropped to around $0.50 with the sale of main event which is where it has roughly been since then. For someone who cares so much about their stock they sure don't seem to understand how stock even works
  4. And that's totally because of WhiteWater World not getting the attention it deserves, and not because of Covid and the sale of Main Event
  5. First I've heard of this, wonder how seriously they showed interest
  6. Per Ogre on Instagram, looks like they are reusing the Model T's for Murrisippi Motors
  7. https://www.instagram.com/dreamworldau/reel/DC0qwPbBXUO/ Some behind the scenes shots of Jungle Rush and the new restaurant in their latest ad for the annual pass
  8. I know its just a poorly timed screenshot, but its funny to me that biggest, in your face text on the front page of their website isn't even readable
  9. Saw the designer post a scale model on their instagram the other day, its visible in the background of their website: https://www.biscuit.net.au/ and on YouTube:
  10. "beat the price rise 10 DEC" they arent going to increase it twice right...
  11. I recognise one of the guys from the video, Troy Candy. Looks like a few of the clips are from this party. This has gotta be fake then, surely Dreamworld aren't going to allow something like that right? It's the complete opposite of the family friendly vibe Greg seems to want to push
  12. I went back and checked how long Gumbuya World took with TNT, November 30 we first saw trains on track with first testing a few days later, the ride opened 3 weeks later
  13. When Harry flew a drone over in early August you could see what looks to me like a bit of test track outside their maintenance sheds, cars might already be on site being tested back of house
  14. DC Rivals is currently down for unscheduled maintenance, listed as open again Friday the 11th
  15. there's a Diwali event November 2 this year at DW, I don't think the markets normally run during it so it would be weird for them to reopen with a big celebration on the 1st only to be closed the next night
  16. All they gotta do is slap a roof on those pillars and you already have an equivalent station to the old Vintage Cars
  17. Doomsday construction started January 2016 with the ride opening September 2016. While Doomsday had more theming than King Claw likely will they didn't also have to remove an entire ride before starting construction. 10-11 months seems reasonable imo
