  2. Today
  3. Destination Dad & Daughter shared this on their socials Zoom in and look closely for a look at the project’s site plan
  4. @New display name calling @ShakeShack wise...
  5. I assume you meant to say they never announced the reopening? And hopefully at some point in your life you will learn that just because you didn't see it, doesn't mean it didn't happen. (and in the alternative, maybe just double check their socials before running your mouth?) To be fair the video they put up explaining why DCR was reopening early \ why Superman was down, they did say "we look forward to sharing the reopening day of the DC Rivals Hypercoaster on our website and right here on our socials in the coming days" - so the expectation that they would announce it was set by the park, and they did exactly what they said they would. His expertise is limited to being behind a keyboard.
  6. You’re mostly right but there’s quite a bit of greenfield land out near Campbelltown off the Hume highway, probably one of the last major pieces of land to support a park in Sydney as major road coverage is absolutely critical for a park. Wonderland had that with the M4. That said it will probably end up a cookie cutter housing development or warehouses within 20 years. Out near the second airport I’m pretty sure much of that land around there is commonwealth owned, as they’re planning to develop around the airport in the future. If one was to secure a lease on some of that land and play the long game it would work but I doubt the government or the private sector would have that sort of vision
  7. Thankyou for posting this its actully so cool seing it being built.
  8. FYI I went to to the Park yesterday and Rivals was running two trains.
  9. Here's so photos of it during construction and stills of it in action
  10. You are comparing oranges with apples. I'm trying to work out why you are not impressed by DW this time. A wise person once said this. (like 19 mins ago in another topic)
  11. They’re trying to make the point that it’s unknown if Dreamworld are making, or will make, similar quality posts about the ride as those that MW made for Flash, as the time hasn’t come for those to be posted yet (Like, for example, a construction timelapse, footage of trains arriving/testing, etc).
  12. I agree, I’m talking solely about the website (having ‘Now Open’ & ‘Closed’ on the same page, for the same ride, at the same time).
  13. Where was this said? I'm confused by your constant dribble.
  14. So you want DW to show you juicy pictures of the finished Jungle Coaster before it is finished. Got it.
  15. There's a large track doing an arc on the back side of the buildings, with an arm that reaches over holding a version of the car. It required the same inspections as the parks coasters each morning.
  16. Here's an idea, if you think you can do better, why don't you send your resume in? I'm sure they would appreciate your expertise in literally everything.
  17. How do I spell it out easier for you, where did I reference footage of the track itself specifically going up for the flash? That's right I didn't.... I said it would be nice to see BTS stuff to the same quality, as a generalised statement. Do you understand?
  18. I'll re-frame my question. I can't find one video MW posted of the Flash, while the track was going up. 🤔 Care to share the post?
  19. I was referencing the videos that were put out for the flash. However if you're looking for track photos that aren't taken on an iPhone standing in the one spot, perhaps check the Oz BTS shots?
  20. People need to calm the farm. The ride is running today.
  21. There's always going to be things that happen after a ride is officially opened. Check out TT2... The other thing to bear in mind is that we rarely have ride grand openings in cold and flu season either. Chances are they're working on opening crew and haven't had a chance to upskill other operators yet. One critical person gets sick and the whole thing can fall over. What they have learned from Levi is that grand opening in a less-peak period means the impacts are not felt as hard, and they've got plenty of time to iron out the kinks before the next school holiday period starts.
  22. There's really not all that much to see, it's some pictures of the first pieces going in? The marketing team are probably playing the long game, you don't want to create too much hype too early or everyone will lose interest, smart if you ask me.
  23. Yesterday
  24. @Dean Barnettdid a great thing opening the ride early. Why are you making song and dance on how they did it?
  25. If DC Rivals had a massive Matainence period and things done to it like when DW did for the Giant Drop that would make sense to do some reopening announcement. Considering Rivals is not that old this is unlikley. your basicaly saying if Green Lantern Broke down and reopend a hour later Movie World should do a big announcement. Green Lantern has just reopened but at least we did a announcement for Dean. Moive World might tweet on their socials it has reopned but to make a big thing about a ride reopening from matainence even if its their star atrraction makes no sense to make a big deal out of it. Incase you missed the countless other discussions about scooby its closed cause the ride has gone past its lifespan. The state of the ride is not fit for purpose they dont close it for fun.
  26. I can't find one photo MW posted of the Flash, while the track was going up. 🤔 Care to share the post?
  27. It was to the post above it - how rivals opened early. The script could have been “we’re looking at opening rivals as soon as possible” - not “we’re going to announce when we think it will open”. They never the reopening - it just opened. Still surprised with the sudden closure of scooby - when their maintenance closures are so frequent.
