  1. This is not a Mum and dad business selling hotdogs at community events. It’s a multimillion dollar business on an international scale. There would 100% be solid, but malleable, plans and timelines in place for rides and park developments.

  2. I know it's a sensitive topic, but it'd be crazy to get rid of a water ride at a Gold Coast theme park and not replace it with another water ride. Especially one that caters so well to a broad market.

  5. Don't worry, Timberliners are definitely a more pleasant ride than Maurer's terrible trains.

  6. I previously said that I wasn’t disadvantaged by this system. I was in a pair and I didn’t have to wait long for another pair. I’m complaining because I genuinely want this park to do well because it’s the biggest park in Sydney. All the angry groups on Facebook and the anger I witnessed towards staff members at the park is concerning for a park that wants to reinvent itself. This isn’t just one ride - it’s the 3 most popular slides in the park. Yes the entrance to those slides was embarrassingly disorganised and not very customer service friendly. Groups of 3 were very confused and the workers refuse to help anyone. THEY ARE NOT ALLOWED TO PUT GROUPS TOGETHER - this was confirmed when I made a complaint to customer relations. I assume it’s to avoid an assault type situation so it’s basically a “sort it out yourself” attitude if you arrive as a group of 3. I joined one group of 3 when I was there to help them but I saw a few just leave in disgust.

  7. They felt similar in speed, but there is an utter lack of airtime anymore. As for Black Hole...with just about every pitch black waterslide park owners tend to put light holes in to make it seem like you are flying through space or whatever. They did it to Broken Headz at WWW too. Personally I like it better when they leave it alone and make it pure darkness, eg like the raft slide at the Beachouse in Adelaide.

  8. No nothing has happened yet. It is still going through the council approval stages yet. I think I read somewhere that when the proposal for Wet'n'Wild Sunshine coast came from WVTP that the council was weighing up between the two and I really hope Wet'n'wild gets the vote. Adventura is more of a resort/ caravan park with the waterpark bit being only a small focus of the whole project to my understanding and will feature more recreational facilties such as golf.
