  1. I think that it is cool how there is a global leaderboard to see who has had the most rides at the park, I think that it will be great to bring in this app to the park and i hope it prompts other parks in Australia to get a park app down the line with the changing times, Especially Dreamworld I sent luna park a message last week and they said that they hope that by the time they reopen that restrictions are further eased and they can go back to a free entry park like they did pre covid, Fingers crossed!!!!

  5. A boom gate has been installed at the entry to allow cranes to carry track pieces across the road Dreamworld, your bush needs a trim And a few years ago @Slick did an update and said how ugly the laser domes looked that were used for night events. Not sure how long they have been gone for, but today I notched they have been removed Unfortunately you can still see the aircon units

  12. Pardon me if I repeat anything mentioned above. Operations will be busy at the parks due to everyone getting back to normality. So while it's annoying to queue up etc it means they are generating profit even if it's just for a few weeks. One train ops. While unacceptable on busy days sometimes operational factors need to be understood. The second train could be tagged out or possibly muggy be close to service or have end of life components* on it rendering it useless possibly for daily operations. Parts shortages are evident in most industries around the world right now. Without making money at the parks you also need to put back on daily running cost. Don't run a train on and your saving on wear and tear. While frustrating for the guest it is something that supervisors etc do constantly think about. Sometimes however these taught and unpopular decisions need to be made for the benefit of the company.

  13. Hey everyone, so I just wanted to reply to this conversation I started, today I went to movie world. And the staff were sooooooooo friendly and helpful. At the entry I asked the lady from looking at me which rides did she think I wouldn't fit on. She was so friendly and explained where the harness fits on each ride. She gave me tips for Scooby doo and told me to ask for a harness check for Superman. So the verdict, I did what she and others said and I sat in the back row of Scooby doo, as I sat down I pulled the lap bar down so it clicked and then adjusted myself under it. It was tight but got a green light straight away no issues. Hyper coaster was closed today, and the lady at the front said green lantern would be a no go, so I didn't try. For Superman, I saw the lady at the end of the queue and asked if I can try a harness, she radioed the other member of staff and she said it will just be me and the member of staff and the empty kart so no embarassment. They take you in the exit back entrance wait for the current riders to get off so it's just you on your own and then she tried two seats, the front row is slightly bigger but I fit both. Again everyone was very friendly and I never once felt embarassed or like I was a hassle. The Wild West falls, I got on and the lady clicked the bar down, it did hit my stomach, she asked if I was comfy and I said yep. She was happy and so was I. Overall a great day! My advice is don't be afraid to try, and don't be embarassed to ask, the staff were more than happy to help. 😁😁😁😁😁😁😁😁😁😁😁😁
