  4. I know they’ve just picked this up from WnW and moved it overnight, but I do hope they give it some TLC. The ride hasn’t operated since 2020 and it’s over 15 years old and it shows. The track received a refurb, but the platforms, ramps and control booths haven’t aged well and definitely need a lot of care before the ride opens. It’s great they’re giving the ride a new chapter and adding another ride to MWs line up, but I hope they don’t cheap out on it. It would be a shame if the park dropped its standards on this.

  5. My guess is Aquaman as that will avoid the need to repaint the ride as it underwent a repaint/refurb last year A few more photos. The control booths are on site too behind the fence.

  6. The biggest surprise for me was Serpent Slayer. First off, I didn't realize it was getting rethemed since the website still called it Pandamonium. Second, I figured it would have the same speed as the other air races. I gave it a chance since I heard it had a good cycle. I figured that would just mean a long duration, but that ride was much faster than the others.

  7. Thanks for the kind words. I kept the trip quiet since I was in Australia for my honeymoon. As for a lot of YouTubers going to Australia, I think many of us were waiting for Leviathan to open.

  8. Claw and ST for 20$ is crazy cheap. You wanna run them into the ground? But I do agree having rides open at night time is a major draw card DW could use that they haven’t taken advantage of. But having the markets adds complications to it. But Its a great way to get people’s trust back in the park and slowly bringing rides into the picture. So the markets work. Running WS and tree house is great. I think it could cheapen the product running anything more but say it did happen I think only school hoildays, have a 60-80$ unlimited night rides for X date pass. It would be pricey for the ride count open at night but I think it kinda needs to be . ST being the head liner and the big new ride if there was an option to pay per ride at night to ride the new ride most people would think why go during the day? We got on the ride we wanted too now we are done. Night markets job is to lure people into going for a day. If you can pay a cheaper price ride all the big rides and at night then it’s objective failed. 🤷🏼‍♂️

  9. Despite this it’s still the “Superman ride“. Thinking possibly Supergirl for Surfrider.

  10. Completely agree that commercial hardware (incl TVs) is required, but on a technicality a Raspberry pi is a media server and often used in commercial applications.

  11. In Australia, and in order? 1-Melbourne 2-Mooloolabah 3-Sydney If you do Sydney, do it in the late arvo on a weekday.

  12. Yeah, I’m pretty sure those TV’s were 2005 originals. I’m amazed they lasted as long as they did. All the mounting hardware they were attached to has been removed and the cabling seems to have been cut pretty crudely. So it seems unlikely the screens will return (at least in this location). I hope they can figure out a way to install new TV’s somewhere in the queue area as the video really helps to set up the story and is an iconic part of the attraction.

  13. That sucks. Don't think there's any footage of it sadly either due to their crazy loose item policy in the queue. The TV's were pretty ancient, so hopefully they're just upgrading to new screens and the video will stay intact.

  14. A park the size of Adventure World doesn't need another big coaster. They need a legit family coaster because at the moment there's nothing between Abyss (major thrill) and Dragon Express (kiddie) - a nice spinner or a drop track coaster would be appreciated in the spot the castle & paddle boat lake used to take up

  15. Does AW need 2 coasters with "steeper than vertical drops" and small cars? What about a more different type of ride?

  16. If AA wasn't being replaced, an idea i had a year or so ago was a Batmobile slotcar like Radiator Springs Racers/Test Track. You bring back the partial show element of the Batman preshow, make it like the manors being atacked, people get ushered into a batcave, and batman remote controls you back to gotham. Gotham can make use of the Chinatown alley, or spit you out next to Scooby.
