I've been lurking on this forum for years and finally made an account to post haha In a dream world I would absolutely love to see HWSD replaced with a Mad Max themed stunt show, it's a WB franchise, filmed in Australia with one of the main attractions to the series being the physical stunts and outrageous cars. It's something I've had in mind since the short promotional stunt show that was held outside the Sydney opera house! i think it would be a really unique and cool addition to the theme park as I find the current stunt show stale and just a tad predictable, adding something more close to home and relevant would be exciting! ^ pic of stunt show

It was certainly not preserved by Channel 9 or 10. Its a mess. There is a video of someone who broke into the area and filmed a full walk through of the studios, but I can't be bothered to find it in the forums. @Theme Park they can't hire it out because it is literally a mess.

When I go by myself, I take my credit card, pass and car key in. Either hide them in my shoe or use a pair of shorts with an inside pocket. I enjoy not having a phone, wallet etc for a few hours. Being inside the park is an escape from the outside world. If friends & family are with me, then we might take a big locker, but with a 6yr old and a baby, we are normally parent swapping.

All rides that they don't allow you to take bags on at Universal Orlando have free lockers outside. Every locker fit my very full backpack with no problems. The two main rollercoasters, Rip Ride Rockit and the Hulk both went as far as to have metal detectors and security to make sure you didn't bring any loose articles on the ride.

At the two Universal parks I’ve been to, they offer lockers and the entrance to most rides, for free for a certain period of time. And this time depended on queue length times. So a 40 minute queue would give you 50 minutes free locker time, and after that you paid. Was a great system.

Funfields have released new teaser trailers for their 2 new rides this season; Voodoo and Gravity Wave. So exciting to see such strong marketing and emphasis on theme for these new ride. The Herald Sun also published an article yesterday about the new mammoth Gravity Wave waterslide. I've seen the slide in person...it is an impressive beast. The accident report, whilst compiled by experts, is still just 'opinion' of those experts. It is no way is a legal finding of negligence or recklessness (or any other legal term of fault) and the only way there can be is if it is taken to court and they are found liable \ guilty. The fact that they have withheld the report is probably because they are now seeking legal opinion on whether it is a viable case to take to court - so even at this stage, nobody is sure, and it may very well be the case that the legal opinion sought returns to state that the case is not worth pursuing... so let's calm down with the sky falling shit for now, hey?

All Just to clarify my role with GW was very brief given my new role commitments. I had no (zero) input into ride procurement as most of this had been done prior to my arrival (which is a shame, let's leave it at that) The water slides etc are all top notch product from WWW but I would have purchased the theming packages that can go with some products. I had no input into theming either (except possibly the water park element). I guided them on the name change and some operational stuff/POS systems etc. No doubt some of you will comment accordingly when you visit in December (?). Hopefully, I will be pleasantly surprised. P.S. Sydneys Wet n Wild was over $125m and well, um? last time I checked SWWW had the 2nd lowest Trip A reviews tally of any significant Park in Oz. Guess who was bottom? There may be a new challenger for the bottom spot soon! Mark

While TG as an attraction really doesn't fit with the enthusiast nature, i think there's a reasonable amount of crossover. Growing up in Penrith, a trip to Panthers was a rite of passage. It was also a destination for many Wonderland cast after a long day \ week (and many cast parties \ after parties \ christmas parties were had there). Inevitably, at some stage through the night, a trip to AquaGolf would be in order. AG was outside the licensed area though, but people still belted the shit out of a few buckets before they sobered up enough to head back to the bar. (Or in some cases, used that time to sober up before driving home). In this regard, I can see TG appealing in the same way. That said, outside the 'small group of blokes' i think it has some appeal - many theme parks \ amusement parks have mini golf, or similar. I don't think its as niche \ outside the box as you think.

Serious question, if this wasn't being built by Village Roadshow Theme Parks, would enthusiasts care as much as they do currently about Top Golf? I feel like outside of maybe half a dozen blokes here, this isn't exactly something enthusiasts would go for.
