I tired again this morning, 3 different browsers and still the map won't load for me. Not really a good look.

I've ridden 2 stand-up coasters, both B&Ms and I enjoyed both. Riddler's at SFMM was amazing and I absolutely loved it. It was one of my "Most Want to Ride" coasters when I made my first big trip to the USA. The other was Mantis at CP before they converted it to Rougarou. Having ridden it as both a stand-up and a floorless I can easily say that it was far far superior as a stand-up. When I rode it as a floorless it was horrible and I only rode it once the whole 4 days I spent at CP. I found stand-ups the most comfortable if I slightly squatted prior to the saddle locking in place, definitely helped protect sensitive areas from being slammed into the saddle seat

I've been on quite a few coasters in my time. Before I was really able to say I'd ridden a lot of roller coasters I could have bet you my entire life that I was going to absolutely love any coaster that was a messy pile of spaghetti (Think Joker's Jinx or Smiler for example), small, compact and lots of twist, turns and inversions. However when I did my first really big roller coaster trip to the USA in 2006 (15+ parks and over 100 different roller coasters) the coasters I loved the most were the hypers. Fast, airtime and lots fun. The spaghetti coasters were great too but I was surprised that the hypers were my favourites. Millennium Force was the first coaster I rode at Cedar Point on all 3 visits. I love that coaster. In the dark, front seat and back seat was also amazing. Even now many many years and roller coasters later it still rates in my top 5, and was number 1 for quite some time. Everyone has their own personal opinions on coasters and that's fine. As mentioned above some coasters do receive universal hate/love from the community. I feel that some of that hate/love is just people wanting to be "part of the cool kids". When I came back from Canada's Wonderland people were shocked on here when I said I wasn't a big fan of some of their big name coasters, it's not that I thought they were bad, they just weren't my favourite coasters i'd been on (For example Leviathan was super disappointing, this should have blown me away noting my comments above but for a B&M Hyper that thing was rough as guts, maybe I just got it on a bad day, also the fact that CW has 2 B&M Hypers rather than diversifying a bit more).

I saw a POV of this on YouTube the other day and so such a small coaster it certainly looked like it packed a good punch.

So excuse my ignorance but the metal frame that the red supports are attached to, will this be covered up by something or will it remain open like it currently is once the ride is finished?

Not a lot really. It's filled with spelling mistakes which, as soon as I see in a document such as this, makes me less inclined to agree with whatever point they are trying to make is.

Logo looks great IMO. Sleek, simple and suits the name.

Having ridden Turbo Track you're bang on the money. It had no real wow factor when I rode it. The launch wasn't very forceful and the bunny hop didn't really give much airtime at all.

Yes this is fairly common, June is a popular time to end a contract as it is the end of the Australian Financial Year.

I have i've been on RailBlazer at CGA. It's a great ride, very intense and packs a massive punch for such a small footprint. I'm looking forward to Big Dipper in the hope it will be just as intense.

I waited a little over 2.5 hours for Top Thrill Dragster at Cedar Point the year it opened. That being said Cedar Point did line management really well with DJs, random entertainers and food/drink machines throughout the queue so the wait, whilst long, didn't actually feel long.

A few years ago I visited California's Great America and rode Flight Deck (Which has to be the shortest B&M Invert out there) which has a low swooping helix out over water and it was pretty cool as there was a corkscrew then small dive into the helix over water. POV below.

I think that based on you're photoshop it would fit in really nicely in the old Log Ride area, but I also agree that the Log Ride should be replaced with another water based ride

I think one of the biggest things that sticks in my mind about WnWS/Raging Waters is the lack of wider advertising. I live in Canberra and I have never seen an ad on TV, a newspaper ad or even online advertising for WnWS/Raging Waters since it opened. When Wonderland was still around we would get all of the above, especially around the school holidays and, that being said, we still definitely get Jamberoo ads. Further to this Murray's buses used to run day trips to Wonderland from Canberra on weekends, but hasn't done the same with WnWS/Raging Waters. My friends and I would probably do 2-3 day trips up to Wonderland each year but we haven't done a single one to WnWS/Raging Waters, but we certainly have for Jamberoo, because its advertised so when we want a day trip it comes to mind, but the same can't be said for WnWS/Raging Waters.

So I know it's a large area but for some reason seeing it from the air like that and seeing the Dreamworld Tower and Buzzsaw together makes the area look really small to me.

I understand why parks limit fast passes on their most popular attractions, but I intensely despise when they provide x rides on x attraction. SFMM is the perfect example of this. I don't like freefall drop rides (Giant Drop, Lex Luther etc.) so I'd much rather use the fast pass on something else. What @AlexB has said above makes sense, give people x number of rides on the popular rides, say 1 fast pass per popular ride, then unlimited on the less popular rides. That way it covers downtime, not wanting to ride a particular ride etc.

Thanks for the trip report on Corin. As a local I never really think of it as a place to go unless there's some snow on the Brindabellas. I just wish they'd get on with the expansion plans that they have talked about for years, would make it a much more attractive place to visit.

Considering that it costs, at a minimum $24.95 (for 2, 4x6 standard photos), for photos with Santa at my local Westfield this year $20 for photos with Bluey seems quite reasonable in my opinion.

Interestingly I couldn't open this on my PC, in any of the 3 browsers I have available. I was able to open it on my mobile phone though. Yikes! This is definitely an unfinished product. Judging by what is there and what is missing the yellow boxes and random yellow shapes for rides (Pandemonium for example) I would assume that this is where they are going to drop in more up to date images like the ones for MDMC and Gold Coaster. It's a pretty poor effort to release without it being finished (or tested for that matter), unless the update to the website missed a data packet which includes the rendered rides, hence the yellow shapes, it's pretty poor from whoever updated it and didn't test it before making it go live.

I was supposed to do 5 weeks around the South Eastern states of the USA in September/October (Disney, Universal, Dollywood etc,etc). For now i'm staying put but I think as far as overseas trips go in the future a lot of what will determine where I go will be based on how well they responded to COVID and how they have come back from it (Vaccines etc.). Japan is looking pretty good IMO. As for my SE USA trip, it's probably on the backburner now for quite some time until they can sort it out (Who knows how long that will take).

I am the same height as you Megan and used to be about 115kg (Down to 95kg now). When I was that large the only ride I ever had any issues on was Doomsday Destroyer at MovieWorld. The attendants were amazing and were able to get the restraints down to a safe point where they locked in.

So somewhat on topic. Many years ago (Well before YouTube) I remember downloading a roller coaster video of various roller coasters in the USA, predominantly Florida parks and Cedar Point, that was a combination of on and off ride footage. The soundtrack to the video was Vertigo by U2. Normally I despise U2 but for the video the song seemed to work and certainly when I visited and rode the roller coasters in the video I had the song stuck in my head.

Did you get to ride it when they were running it backwards or forwards? It was definitely rougher going backwards.....
