  1. Worth noting you can also view the following page online with all the offers and links. https://themeparks.com.au/box-office/memberships/benefits.aspx
  2. Fairly sure it is used for tour groups (generally international) not the Sunset Safari's. Did Sunset Safari in Sep and Jan and did not utilise the area for either tour.
  3. I think it is interesting to note how in recent times Sea World has gone from Shows/Showtimes to Presentation, makes sense with all the animal activists ect. Looking forward to hopefully catching this soon.
  4. My point was it's always good to provide a source, as yourself and others raised here. Or perhaps I noted it because I think things should be proofread before being posted publicly and that VRTP's attention to detail is lacking sometimes. It's amazing how quickly misinformation can spread, I have certainly had a rocky relationship with VRTP as of late, does not mean I have been or am currently banned, I was at WNWS on Saturday and MW yesterday. Nor does it mean I paint everyone with the same brush. VRTP have some great people and issues with a few do not tarnish my experience across all brands/properties as a whole. Lets get back on topic shall we...
  5. The page above was copy/pasted from is http://wetnwild.com.au/events/Island-life.aspx 11th, 12th, 18th, 19th, 25th and 26th of Feb are the dates, worth noting that VRTP apparently cannot spell "Dominos Pizza".
  6. Yes, I made a false assumption there based on the Jelly Belly advertising.... But the rest of the post was accurate
  7. Handheld pass/ticket scanners are used to verify entry to DW from Lego. Lego has 3 entrances and exits, front gate, park (next to Kodak) and yet to open the new "marketplace". Marketplace also has its own exit and will link into Main St Emporium and next to Kodak.
  8. Doomsday is the big one, still undergoing test cycles/closed to guests. Out of MW's control somewhat though. Suprised the media haven't jumped on that and Scooby
  9. The food was the biggest dissapointment of Carnivale this year for me, the majority of performers were great. As others have said the event should have been Free of Charge with General Admission to begin with, they actually are handing out tickets to guests exiting the park and resort guests are also free to enter. Also interesting to note is the walk up adult price is $15 rather than the $20 for prepurchases from the website.
  10. Press release.... some further details on what will be stocked.
  11. ^ I doubt it if they report "facts" and speculate. The ride is "stuck" or stopped with passengers on board. I think it's horrible how the parks continue to be attacked by the media these everyday stops. Arkham is obviously a rarer occurrence with a lift hill issue. I received an email from the Daily Mail requesting to use my footage as part of a video on the "Arkham accident", said no. ABC just used it and credited YouTube ? I also feel VRTP give too much access to the media when they consistently report on issues like this.
  12. Rode yesterday, cackling laugh was the only audio effect working, and the axes (although not lit up).
  13. TPG is correct that the backstory was removed after the incident, and the page was edited ages recently due to sensitivity/respect. I feel that the Gold Rush theme days are numbered, as it is not a drawcard where a new theme would be, I like the idea of the Vintage Cars being relocated (again) until a major drawcard is installed.
  14. Fair enough, I don't know who you asked but I recommend using Zendesk. At the WC Ricks Dinner a chef specifically told someone I know how the dishes were prepared, what they could still eat with their intolerance's ect.
  15. Did you talk to the staff during the event, or prior? VRTP have been fairly good with food issues of late and I am sure could have helped you out.
  16. Dominos was open... as was Dockside Tavern and I think Plaza Burgers had normal fish and chips too. I agree the pathways are difficult to navigate and it would be even worse if it was a "sellout".
  17. Cuts may have been the wrong word grazes is better. Believe what you want.
  18. I have also heard about guests receiving cuts to their feet at the joints in the slide....
  19. I think more likely to attempt to sell to another park, or possibly work was started on them before they decided to not reopen the ride.
  20. Think about what happened when Dreamworld moved to Dreamworks from Nick. The area had a generic name as did the rides. Reptar became "Sky Rocket". Apart from a sign or two and change on the park map its not hard or expensive to do temporarily. I doubt Warner Bros. or Hanna-Barbera would want the ride operating as "Scooby Doo Spooky Coaster" without all the Scooby Doo theming, unless it was only in the short term.
  21. I don't know why people are still questioning if it is keeping the Scooby theme, why keep the name with all the internal theming removed if you are not going to reopen it as that attraction. Would make more sense to reopen with a temporary name/without the brand and then announce/launch the new name/attraction when ready. Also worth noting I heard (unreliable source, but it makes sense) that the Scooby licensing the park currently has relates to the film, as such comes under the main Warner Bros. contract.
  22. I feel Gold Rush area without going into the Blue Lagoon or Log Ride space will be their next major work. Whilst I feel Dreamworld needs a large headline coaster I would like to see a water attraction that can handle large crowds replace TRR.
  23. Thought I would start this thread to discuss Dreamworld's Summer Entertainment offerings. Have attended Fire Machine a few nights and the park in general a few days and am throughly impressed with all the new shows, returning shows and Kevil Hill Live Scare attraction (better than any of the mazes at MW this year in terms of scares). Dreamworld also have some dining specials and the "4PM Ticket" Showtimes
  24. I was at the front of WNW briefly this morning and at the park yesterday afternoon. Can confirm adverts were being handed out with park maps and I saw WNW staff having a go yesterday (recreationally).
