I like the Gold Rush Country area. Remember if Gold Rush goes so does Old Time Photos and the Jail. Plus all the great theming in that area.

It was the maintenance bay for a mine ride that used to be there, now it is a store room.

Probably prepping it for demolition. It wont reopen now the River Rapids is getting demolished. Hopefully a new Mine Ride gets built. Removing the River Rapids holding pond next to it means a bigger and better Mine Ride can get built.

I put this together showing some Dreamworld ads over the years. I do have some other Dreamworld ads but the video was long enough. Tune in next year for them and the Young Talent Time Dreamworld special.

I don't think they would have to remove the log ride. Just get a log ride manufacturer to update the ride system.

They could build an all new, bigger Mine Ride mountain. The old ride was too short anyway.

The log ride is still on the Dreamworld website. If it was not going to reopen it would be removed like the River Rapids.

Surfrider is good at Wet n Wild. You can ride it to get dry.

They could build a new bigger Mine Ride. By getting rid of the Thunder River Rapid holding pond there is a lot of room to create a bigger mountain.

Remember that Main Street opened in 1981 and Gold Rush was opened at the end of 86. So the Mine Ride should be able to be removed without damaging the Main Street businesses. I hope they keep Gold Rush just redevelop it. Add a brand new Mine Ride, a wooden coaster and a new family boat ride. They can also remove the old chairlift and even fill in some of the river to create new themed lands.

True. My pass expired Christmas Eve 2015. I haven't rode HWSW. It was in December NOT October.

The park will not be reopening till all for victims are put to rest. I wouldn't be buying anything from the Dreamworld website yet. Wait till the park reopens.

Dreamworld won't be reopening until after the funerals.
