  1. All the track peices will arrive very close together. They are currently at the shipping docs. (Well where there. God knows how much are already on trucks making their way to MW.) the shipping yard would want to get rid of all those sea containers ASAP as they are just sitting there wasting space. So my bets are we will see the whole or most of the coaster parts arrive very soon.
  2. There is also The Thunder Bolt (Bells amustments) and Rock N Roll (Chants amustments). Plus The rage (L&L Osbroune Showtime amustments) is the same ride type but instead of hanging the cars are on rails. Here is a link to how the ride gets set up. This version requires 2 trailers and takes a long time to set up as they build it from scratch. This is why it only gets used once a year. Instead most other versions still have 2 trailers but the whole roof folds in. Like below:
  3. Hmmm I wonder if MW or anyone in Australia will ever be able to top a roller coaster for this size. Good luck MW's next roller coaster!
  4. Keep in mind in the off peak, on rides with multiple ride vehicles they will be doing annual maintenance on the cars not in use. IE Superman's 2nd train or one of Green Lanterns multiple trans.
  5. @Luke according to the Parkz data base Wet N Wild Gold Coast's tornado is a 60 and the same with all the online information I found. However you are right in that pro-slides has it listed as a 45. Below are pictures of tornado's 45& 60 and it looks like Wet N Wild is defiantly a 60 and that there is an error. The Perfect storm main tornado is a 60 and the 2 other ones are 24s. I don't think there are any tornado's 45 in Australia. We will have to wait and see with what size Adventure Park gets. This is a 60 and this is a 45 and this is Wet N Wild GC's Tornado
  6. So how many tornado 60's are there in Australia now. * Kraken * Wet N Wild one * Wet N Wild Sydney one * The Green Room * The Perfect Storm * Funnel Web *This one Any more that I am missing? It seems like these are very popular rides.
  7. They can always put the inflatable slide up in another location. I was going by what's on the video at the top of this page saying they have approval and they will be some news slides. But only time will tell. I thought the main issue with the delay expansion plan was that they couldn't get approval because of the residence. Which they have now managed to get approval.
  8. Hopefully this works: https://www.swan.wa.gov.au/files/assets/public/document-resources/council-meetings/2015/12-dec/16/item-3.10-additions-to-recreation-private-water-park-expansion-lots-1-and-4-neaves-road-bullsbrook-da286-15.pdf
  9. Could we also see during Corroboree stage 2 development, the chair lift station at the back of the park removed. I wonder if we see DW build some type of ride in Corroboree area even if its a flat ride and theme it into that area. As there haven't built a ride since Tail Spin. (A few years) OR are they saving for that roller coaster
  10. We should hopefully start getting teasers about MI3 soon. March is when AW put up teaser signs at the park for Kraken and Abyss. Mark did say that construction will start in July which means construction will start after the park closes. Which gives them 3 months to get the new attraction ready for open. (considering it is a flat ride or potentially rides) Hopefully we see markers out soon.
  11. So I was looking for AW DA/PA for MI3, however I found the DA/PA for the proposed stage 2 of the water park. At the bottom of the document is the concept art for the new slides. So hopefully this happens as its now finally been approved. (And they have mentioned some new slide towers could be on there way) Hopefully its built in time for summer. The approval is for a new carpark and entrance, slide tower with a proslide tornado wave and 3 other slides. Along with a kids area with all of proslides mini versions for the kids. (Something I am waiting for AW to build) file:///C:/Users/natal/Downloads/Item-3.10-Additions-to-Recreation-Private-Water-Park-Expansion-Lots-1-and-4-Neaves-Road-Bullsbrook-DA286-15.pdf
  12. Me neither I think those doors do not suit the building.
  13. @Brad2912 are you please able to provide the link as I cant find them. Thanks
  14. Unless its an announcement report about a new ride.
  15. But how many tourist does the Commonwealth games actually generate? OR is it more the free advertising.
  16. I really think that is a great TVC and that this is what DW needs to be doing now to really help their business. I also like how they talk about dreaming. I would like to see DW really push dream in dreamworld.
  17. As well as all the tools and equipment needed to install the ride. The Coaster needs more than track and supports. It needs tones of nuts and bolts, motors, lift chains, spare parts/maintenance stuff along with a lot of other stuff. Plus they need an area to store all tools and equipment needed for the install. Its clear that the coaster parts will be arriving soon. What we are seeing right now is the are being set up for the cost parts arrival. (VRTP could always buy the shipping containers and send them down to SW for Storm. )
  18. Install OTSR on it to stop people from standing up.
  19. MDMC had VR, but apparently it was not made well and made people sick.
  20. Yeah, but hopefully they start expanding their rides now. Considering how much of the park is SBNO.
  21. @wileecoyote we know its going to be a flat ride. AW needs flat rides at the moment considering we have lost BR and Inferno is on its last legs. It still is going to be a big ride, which will have a big capacity and Mark has said that AW wants more dry rides at the park. I am personally looking forward to this from what we have heard. But keep in mind even a big ride like Kraken started construction when the season ended.
  22. Isn't it ilegal to fly a plane like that over private property. I mean if its not we may as well fly drones and planes over MW's construction.
  23. Is FY18 from July 2017-June 2018? As that could mean it could open at the end of this year.
