  1. You reckon Batman could give them a hand instead of just standing up there watching them work.... lazy prick..
  2. Do they have a slide that makes you skinnier too? I'll ride that one all day long...
  3. Fright nights is a different story though, back when it first launched it was a very different conceived event, and much more family/kid friendly.
  4. Not if muppets are live streaming it on FB..
  5. I'm sure the linkage to Main Street will open, but the marketplace I wouldn't think would be close to ready by then.. but stranger things have happened
  6. An outdoor attraction that is weather dependent for work is a lot harder to nail a definitive timeline for. If they have picked a date for the Lego store opening you can be assured they'll meet it, and I'm fairly certain that there would be a stipulation in the licensing stating the store can't open half completed...
  7. Scooby (movie based) is a WB property. Whilst I'm not privy to the licensing arrangements between VTP & WB now that WB basically has no financial involvement in the park, I would take a stab that there would be some kind of perpetual licensing arrangement in place for the IPs used in the existing attractions (looney tunes, scooby). There would no doubt be some form of approval through WB for changes to theming & new uses of those IPs.
  8. I don't necessarily think it should be re-themed away from Scooby, but if they are going to expense of replacing the everything, I'd like them to take the chance while they have a basically blank canvas to work with, to give us a new experience. If it re-opens with no differences at all, I'd call it a massively missed opportunity. If they can't find enough inspiration or creativity to deliver a new Scooby experience, that's when I'd say - well let's move on to a totally new theme
  9. You only have that option for a small timeframe, unless you're a Parkz Member
  10. So my thoughts after tonight... im gonna buck the trend and say I prefer the event at MW... (sorry guys) * I think the lack of a parade makes the event suffer. Carnivale, by nature of the name, is an event that is quintessentially organised around a parade. * the food options were limited compared to previous years. (No millionaire bacon, loaded fries, New York pizza, seafood boil up etc) The fact you couldn't buy chicken nuggets or tenders anywhere in the park for kids is ridiculous. Only selling fish burgers and fish bites at the usual food outlet is a waste * the lack of a parade meant there was no 'major event' to draw crowds away from rides, and the lack of adult/teen ride options added to that. People congregated at tables and just stayed there as there was little to move off and do from the undercover area. * In Stereo (who?) were clearly no drawcard, if anything the ride queues got bigger whilst they played * no roving entertainment, all squished into the one area * the live music under the roof was ok, but apart from one song had nothing to do with the Carnivale theme, which was originally designed as a kudos to the New Orleans/Brazilian events. Singing 'Cheerleader' and Katy Perry songs are relative to neither. I guess I'd be more complimentary of the event if it wasn't at the expense of MW's Carnivale, which I've loved. This is a differnt event and I like the idea of SW having a night event, but leave Carnivale at MW and create a new identity for this... Sounds by the Sea, Fiesta by the Sea, I dunno, but separate them..
  11. I can vouch for the lines in Nick Land being Looonnggg... especially when you wait 20mins to get to the front of Bikini Bottom Bus only for Mr 4 to announce he needs to go to the toilet, NOW. Out of the line we go, then another 20 wait!
  12. Hmm.. good question, didn't ask as I'm travelling solo with Mr 4 year old so neither are on my agenda tonight. I ASSumed it would be unlimited on those 2, but on reflection maybe not. It was the only price point on signage though (no seperate price which stated unlimited)
  13. Any ride that is dismantled, transported, and rebuilt regularly, by different people, on sometimes hasty timelines, and not independently audited on each rebuild instance is going to bring with it an element of added risk. The value to that element depends on many factors. That's not to say travelling rides are not safe, but I personally consider them less, and in some instances far less, safe than fixed theme park rides
  14. Guess it's reflective of how many rides there are...
  15. Anyone got a review of food options yet? Similar to last events at MW?
  16. @ash.1111 am I reading correctly that you have Surf rider (and MDMC!) above Scooby & Arkham?? Wowsers..
  17. Ahh yes, hit, stupid iPhone predictive changes...
  18. You're both right, it's going to be a world first driving range where you can tee off from either end and win a free bucket of balls if you hit an opposing player mid swing..
  19. If it's just a name change it means nothing, but if the new name means updates and improved theming then yeah
  20. Unless it's a complete retheme the park won't gain significant, if any, revenue when it opens. I doubt anyone is sitting at home thinking "oh hey, they just put the theming back up in Scooby, let's buy annual passes". That's only going to happen if the retheme makes it a completely new experience
  21. The people in the caravan park may be slightly annoyed when the overpass goes through their property. I've seen plans for a new Coomera overpass north of the existing one which will provide another northern entrance to the town centre site.
  22. How were you expecting a oh wow gee coaster in the footprint BS is built on?
  23. Yes, There is obviously no separate share price for the theme park division, they are one and the same.
  24. Yep - mission is spot on. You leave more than 50m on the M1 and 1, maybe 2, cars will merge into it a 110km/h
  25. Your orientation for the range is ✅from what I've heard
