Driving by at 4:30am this morning, I have to say the spotlights they have set up highlighting certain features of the track do look really good

I really think post-construction VR is gimmicky. It the ride is designed with VR in mind then i'm all for it, but when it appears to be an afterthought or a 'cheap' way to offer a 'new' experience, I just don't buy into it.

I work 5mins from the park, so I'll be waiting with baited breath for one of you to post 'soft opening now' and I'll be in the car haha

Certainly was a big event, at 9:45 the carpark was about 75% full

Driving past the park at about 5:45 and the train was stationary at the top of the lift hill. Maybe doing a trial evac, though no one was on the lift hill at the time

It's Membership/VIP pass admission ie, if you have a FN Membership or VIP pass you choose that option

Do they ever really paint the externals of water slide tubes? I don't recall that being a common occurrence at either WnW or WWW

Guess it's the same as they say at booking you need it show your membership/VIP pass along with your redemption ticket on entry, yet in 6 years I've never shown my annual pass, just handed them the redemption

If Batwing was a little shorter and the same height at the SE tophat, you could make an arguement for that being Batman peering over the building...

Makes sense to aim for the school holidays, I just think they missed the uplift by not having publicised it to encourage interstate tourists (or started construction 2 weeks earlier so the 'safe' target was always the start of the holidays with potentially to open earlier)

TPSN claiming DCR will be opening on Sept 15th..
