  1. Today
  2. My god this year feels like it will be cheaper than ever. Hoepfully i’m wrong…
  3. i’ve also noticed Wild West Falls is no longer open this year, neither are the wizard of oz coasters, meaning only 5 attractions will be open this year.
  4. Very simple design philosophy. Want the theming to look good? Make sure it's all written in the same design language!
  5. Step beyond the stairs and into the bowels of terror. Beneath the infamous Hotel of Horrors lies something far darker, the Krypt of Kain. Once the site of ritualistic killings, it’s basement now festers with twisted fiends, feeding and multiplying. Step beyond the stairs and into the bowels of terror… but beware, few ever return. i am very excited for a sequel of House of Kain, i wonder if this one will be in the WB Showcase stage like the original.
  6. Then you issue is with the side roads and the is out of DW's hands.
  7. Eternal looks like it's going to be Zombies in space suites. Zombies are never scary and always suck.
  8. so there will be no IP mazes this year besides DCeased i’m assuming? eternal dark looks interesting, it’s either going to be really good or DCeased level bad.
  9. Yesterday
  10. Frequently at park close time, the highway is just as bad as the connector roads surrounding it. If you could at least get out of the carpark you could choose to spend time waiting for the congestion to ease on the highway by visiting other nearby establishments.
  11. Beware… once inside, you may be lost in the void forever. The spacecraft Eternal has returned, but what came back is no longer human. Once a beacon of exploration, the derelict spacecraft now drifts in silence, its halls pulsing with alien infection. Inside, half-human crew members, stalk the corridors in search of fresh hosts. Step aboard... if you dare! https://frightnights.com.au/mazes/eternal-dark
  12. You want to drive past the entry to the M1 and go to the shop/movies because you don't want to sit in traffic after you already achieved your goal of reaching the M1 entry.
  13. Some of the bins have containers for change branding stating they donate proceeds to the DWF from memory
  14. Kudos to the designer of those particular items for sure!
  15. Honestly - there's plenty of good reasons to expediate exit from the DW carpark. if you can get past that roundabout you have options before trying to get onto the M1 - dine locally at one of the many dining precincts in and around Coomera, go shopping on certain days, see a movie if you're really keen on avoiding the peak hour traffic - it doesn't all have to be about getting on the M1 - it just has to get you past the roadblock.
  16. Whats the point of leaving the car park earlier if you are sitting on the side streets the same amount of time you are sitting in the car park? The Government has a future plan for a M1 overpass at Beattie Road.
  17. But the point wasn't about getting onto the M1 quicker. The point was to clear the DW car park quicker. Filtering even 50-60% of the south-bound traffic onto Foxwell road would help clear the round about for north-bound traffic and overall there would be an improvement in traffic flow over the current situation - including on the M1 outside DW. There is no situation where improving signage and funneling south-bound traffic onto that exit would make the current traffic worse as Dapto described it.
  18. It will be no quicker trying to enter the M1 at spaghetti junction.
  19. It needs to be more prominent, and signed as Exit to M1 south or 'Exit to Gold Coast'. Currently all the exit signage directs people toward the round about. Look at the arrows on the ground. The majority of the car park directs people to the right, away from that exit.
  20. @DaptoFunlandGuyCoomera traffic around the M1 is a shit-show that nobody has come up with a solution. Maybe the Coomera connector will fix it when it opens but I doubt it. @wikiversethere is already an exit at the bottom of the car but you rarely see cars using it.
  21. This could be remediated with a one-way exit from the car park on the WWW side, with a slip lane heading south onto Foxwell road. People could then take DW Parkway to Hope Island Road and enter the M1 southbound there. The current DW car park is a cul-de-sac which is never good for traffic.
  22. Last week
  23. They are the original gardens. The garden near Shockwave has always been within the hoarding.
  24. Seeing the photo of just the light post reminds me, those light post are the cream of the crop in what a theme park should aim for with light post.
  25. As of Tuesday, those are still there. So are the lights at the tiger island side of the tunnel.
  26. In the right side of that photo, are they already planting out garden beds around the ride, or are they the existing garden beds around Shockwave?
