  1. Past hour
  2. Don't wanna get too excited cause it's just concept art but man, that looks sick
  3. Today
  4. And this is exactly why soft openings are so important. This is what we like to hear! Hopefully it’s not just new ride things and it continues
  5. Update: Got on last ride of the night, and got evac’d lmao. Only other people on it were staff (great people running it rn btw, real enthusiastic & rather quick too), and they said that was the first stoppage of the ride they’ve had to deal with. My un/luckiness from Levi’s opening day (was also on last train, nearly got evac’d but it was able to advance to station) persists.
  6. SW ran out of time to soft open Levi @Tricoart High quality theming that is. 🤢
  7. Didn’t realise what this meant til I rocked in for the last hour of opening, they’ve actually learned from Levi & opened it for guests pre-grand opening. Actual good job, VRTP!
  8. @Tricoartnext time just say between the Sky Voyager & the Kebab Shop Ride. Nobody will have issues with that.
  9. I was thinking that lol, but thought context would be enough for it to be understood what DWF I was referring to. DF just doesn’t sound right to me, ig.
  10. Thats a really long pathway to the Dreamworld Wildlife Foundation. I can't even find where it is on the map, but i'm assuming it's somewhere near the Tigers? That's called 'East'. It is apparently quite common to balance things out maintenance wise, but I only ever see West running. First there was blue screen, then there was green screen. Now beige screen is used to hide objects in front of a plain coloured wall. The sign is nice enough but the colour choices are horrible against the background store colour.
  11. The Churro sign is hard to see. I don't know if DW choose the best colours here.
  12. Image dump from today, in some form of order: Overview of Jungle Rush’s site from Corroborree: Scaffolding/work walls have gone up around the Corroborree: Images of the (soon to be) ride building: (which, basic walls have begun to go up for) And, of Jungle Rush’s track in the carpark: Plus some images of the new Vintage Cars plot in its current state (in case you were wondering, the old one is still seemingly untouched):
  13. Flash is also currently the only ride, that’s not for kids, actually open.
  14. The Flash is undergoing technical rehearsals (thanks to ChrisEvans via TSPN)
  15. ‘Cause there’s no general Dreamworld Update page, and most of these qualify, non-Rivertown images/updates from today: Touch-ups are being done on the pathway between Sky Voyager & DWF. Giant Drop is running the opposite side (not the one facing ST). And (I thought this had already been posted here, but I couldn’t find it so I’ll post anyway) there’s a new sign atop the redone Churro stand.
  16. I haven't seen this before. More information here: https://earthstory.com.au/portfolio-dreamworld-jungle-rush.html
  17. Yesterday
  18. Let's hope DW do better than the Scarab attack on Treasure Hunters. I don't like that effect at all.
  19. Thought I was tripping with @REGIEs response… But no it’s just not there. Anyone know what actually happened to the 2nd train?
  20. Haven't seen it in years, and I do visit the park frequently enough. Not even over the peak summer period they had the 2nd train in the storage bay, so it must be used for parts ¯\_(ツ)_/¯.
  21. It's usually always in the extra bit of track on the right of the unload area. Never seen it used though so I guess they just use one of them while the other gets worked on. I know other people have said they have seen both operating but no for ages. bit late now but with the coaster cut outs I think part of it's possible* under selling (which could be wrong maybe it sold well) is because it's so darn expensive! Apart from coaster enthusiasts and the odd tourist not many people can fork out $50 for some cardboard cut outs. It's priced way too high. I love leviathan and cutouts but I have not bought it. $50 is just too much.
  22. They’ll be all new cars similar to the ones that Universal Singapore has. And I’d say there will definitely be a lot more vehicles available since they’ll be brand new and electric
  23. Would be cool if they mixed the old cars with the new.. even though they are probably different systems it would be sick
  24. I think it's a great option to have it so you can see what rides will be open when you go but it should definitely co-exist with the old system. I often use that to plan a day to go. This new system almost discourages me to plan a trip. But if it do-existed with the old system it would make it easier again. The new website looks good though
