  1. This topic was talked about in the off topic topic but I thought I'd make a seperare topic.

  2. Why is it really closed then? I'm calling BS on the whole "Buzzsaw is closed because of i-ride" thing - checkout the screenshot below - there's more than enough space to put hoarding up that would allow for guests to access Buzzsaw & truck access for i-ride etc. It's 100% a convenient excuse while they figure out what to do next with Buzzsaw. Realistically, if they had a plan for Buzzsaw there'd be an end date for it's temporary closure. Any other park in the word gets equipment in before park operating hours or escorts equipment through the park if need be (which is exactly what they did when they were building Tailpsin, just to add). All of this is contemptuous to the guests and their day to day experience.

  3. One thing that I thought was downright pathetic was the Gotham City drinks station being closed in the middle of the day. Want to buy a burger meal with a soft drink, that's all well and good to buy it. But oh wait, you need to go across the road to the bar to fill up your drink cup...Unless it's after 2pm, then you have to go to one of 2 food outlets still open (bakery and newsstand, and wait 20 minutes to be served). Good job guys...

  6. That's not why Buzzsaw is closed.

  7. It's on at the same time as the Adelaide show, so rides like Space Roller and XXXL will not be there as they will be in Adelaide. I don't have a full ride lineup, but this year the Showmens Guild is providing the rides so it will be a much better lineup than the last few years with independent operators providing the rides. Will also be free entry, so certainly worth heading down and showing your support and having a good ride (or 5)

  8. Seems like the admin building was sunken behind the Super Troopers ride to keep BOH areas hidden. This park really was Disney-lite. If only they could keep that influence into the modern era with newer technologies and slightly bigger ride budgets. F**k me, this whole thread just depresses me.

  9. I was just at our Movie World and absolutely loved it but thought it would be much more well rounded if it had a couple more dark rides/movie themed family experiences based on IPs other than DC. I think these types of rides are exactly what it needs!

  10. I don't reckon there is anything wrong with the plastic cards. I think the area is much better now it is all free.

  12. I can't believe a tour starting in Orlando wouldn't have WDW and Universal - although i realise this would up the cost, and the number of days you'd need...
