  2. Keep the updates coming. If they get it off the ground, I’m planning on trying to get down there today.

  3. After waiting it out for 2 hours, at 4:45 I managed to get on. Somber moment, I remember the day it opened, so glad I got one more ride. Fingers crossed it lasts another day.

  4. The villains unleashed area is fantastically themed, the best cohesive themed area they’ve put together and caters for a wide demographic. Yes DD is too intense to be considered a family ride but the area as a whole is well executed, popular and fun for all. It wasn’t long after opening that the payment to activate the interactive elements was removed. It’s been free for well over a year.

  5. Operator says it looks like there's little chance of it running today and tomorrow isn't looking decent either. The few tests it's done it looks like it's reaching as high as it used to back when it opened. Seems like one test run every 15 mins or so at the moment

  9. Why get rid of the showstage now when it finally being actively utilised for something relevant and interesting?

  10. WB Kids area first, then... I've said it before and will say it again. Add to Wild West. Where the smoking zone/falls splashdown area is, make that the entrance to a western themed ride (RMC Hybrid is my preference) that takes up land currently used by the former Western Show Stage, all the way behind Scooby and also using the land AA currently sits on. The 'shortcut' from SE to Gotham Hall can be re-themed into whatever, maybe even fully enclosed and used as a showcase walkthough.

  15. I imagine it was for the construction of Reptar coaster, 2001 seems around the time it moved and Reptar opened 2002. Edit: thinking about this made me remember avalanche that I had completely forgotten, man that was a fun ride. From memory, the skull would have sat just to the left of SpongeBob on the wall over there.

  16. Some business shut up shop during schoolies because it keeps paying customers away. What schoolies spend money on. 1. Accommodation 2. Alcohol. 3.Noodles.

  17. I agree MW needs a focus on high capacity family rides and shows, but at the same time, they can't let Arkham retire without a suitable replacement. (And suitable, in context, means another coaster.)

  18. Alright kids Update time! AndrewH was banned from DW after the incident where he got into Eureka. A couple years later, DW let it go and lifted the ban. AndrewH can now visit the park if he so chooses. Tower is operating as much as they can get it to. It's main problem is that it keeps parking itself half way up the tunnel and they have to winch it back home and reset it. I was at the park from 11am today and managed to get 12 rides, including the final ride for the day at 5pm. It went down often but the amount of time it was open and taking guests today was definitely longer than it was down for. Two maintenance staff are also now stationed in the control booth just to keep an eye on tower and get it back up and running when it loses track of the car again. Also, when it's open, they are trying to pump through as many people as they can. It didn't operate at all yesterday and only half the day on Monday. I managed to get so many rides in because the ride was fairly reliable today and when it went down, I stayed around the entrance area for when it would reopen. So if anyone else if hoping to get some more rides in before the final send off on the weekend, persistence and patience is key.

  19. True, the park was dead on Saturday and even Sunday was slightly busy but not bad at all. I’m just glad they have fixed that hole in their lineup now and the fact that they have now announced TOT’s closure, a new launch coaster is something exciting to look forward to. idk how the public would react if they added the coaster first and then removed tower of terror, then announced a family ride, if you know what I’m saying...
