For our non-Queensland members who can't reach the parks at the minute and can't ride Sky Voyager, I found the backing track for the ride today. Enjoy.

I'm glad that as a community we mostly didn't engage with the idea that WnW should be moved. No arguments, no rants about why it would be stupid, we all ignored it and got on with our day. I feel like we're growing up.

This newer style Reverchon Spinning Coaster is still on its way! It's basically the Heidi Coaster. Hopefully The Rat (lol) will have the launch lift like Heidi! Lot's of fun when I rode it at Oktoberfest last year!

Because everyone loves a big woodie being erected. Can't wait to ride this one.

WnW needs A LOT of overdue love. Let’s hope it gets it.

There's a few other tracks that I haven't found which play during the 5:29 Sky Voyager sequence but this is the most iconic, imo.

According to the Sea Word website, Trident is still in the works and should be opening alongside Leviathan in June of next year.

While the idea is good, it wouldn’t work. There is Topgolf, studios and AOS in between. Unless they took the concept that American parks have and use, for example a monorail system or even a constant bus service to connect them. I don’t think they should close it down, but it needs some major investments as really, it hasn’t been touched since 2012

Wouldn’t you be able to see the entry during the day now, if the burger bar is open? Unless it’s still fenced off during the day

Did they show the updated entry/sign for the coaster in that video too?

Okay peeps I promised I would have something for everyone this week and I delivered A review will go up later in the month but here’s an overview of what’s to be expected in the event

My younger brother & sister are both in that new safety video. Was pretty awesome to finally see it today.

Wow, I don’t remember the last time (in recent years) there were so many things happening within one of our parks and the majority of them are good things too.

I doubt they will remove it because it’s still provides access to the entrance for GD, but will definitely make things a lot easier

Were those slides second hand like Mach 5?

A new roof structure for the Black Hole has been installed, just a shade sail to go

And some new slides too.....Constrictor in 2012 was the last new slide for adults. 2014 was Wet n Wild junior the last new water attraction.....Too long. They did replace the fibreglass on Super 8, but anybody from the public probably would have thought it was just a repaint.

took our first visit of the season to WnW today. the place is a mess. AquaLoop closed, looks like some form of groundwork taking place at the base of the tower, Mammoth closed Calypso Bay closed (sign says due to it being a seasonal attraction... funny, if a 30 degree day isn’t the correct season to operate, what is?) SurfRider closed - the upper sections of track on both sides are removed and not onsite that I could see. Sensors/cables just hanging down on the remaining track. Blackhole closed - surrounded by scaffolding on all sides, and sheeting covering the entire side facing Tornado. toilet block in H2O zone closed, obviously Calypso toilets closed too. pizza shack closed Photo kiosk closed so you have to go in the exit shop dripping wet to see/get your photos All slides in desperate need to repaints. Having been at WWW last weekend, WnW feels and looks like a second rate regional water park
