  1. Decent wait times for most of the rides and mazes for the start of the event
  2. It’s a good model, why not just replace the old with the new if it’s popular. I’d love to see Sea World get one again!
  3. I don’t see this as anything to worry about because a lot of coasters that are closed for extended periods of time get listed as SBNO. Scooby has also been listed as SBNO the whole times it’s been closed.
  4. But what if you don’t have a pocket? And for the sack of argument you’re either a single rider or no one in party has pockets either!
  5. I thought the same thing when I went on it earlier this year. You definitely used to get a key on this ride, but at some point in reach years they’ve changed to basically a receipt (maybe post COVID).
  6. The local Council has approved the application for the new gondola system. The full application can be found here: https://www.planningportal.nsw.gov.au/major-projects/projects/taronga-zoo-sky-safari
  7. I don’t think anyone really knows because it varies day to day depending on what they’re predicting the crowd levels to be. Either way, it’s going to be crazy busy and they’re will be waiting. Just priorities the rides you don’t have Express for either at the start or the end of the day (I did Jurassic River Adventure at 8pm and it was a walk on, but it was a 60-90min wait all day). And save rides like Jaws for in the middle of the day. Keep in mind that food queues can also be 30-60 minutes. And if you see Water World sit at the back, so when the show ends you can get out quickly because it becomes a real bottle neck trying to get out of there.
  8. Hit these two first thing. Jaws is very high capacity and the wait generally isn’t ever too long. From my understanding, the park would open at 7:30, but I don’t know that from personal experience as I didn’t try it for myself (just based on everything I’ve read online).
  9. They can’t be that protective, because Wicked Witch has been added as an available ride (instead of Flash)
  10. Agreed! It may be an eye sore, but at least it’s a nice eyesore and not the rundown tired eye sore it used to be
  11. 8 years ago to the day! I hope we one day see another coaster of this scale constructed in Australia.
  12. They can’t do anything until the court case from the girl who was allegedly injured on the slides in 2023 is sorted. This is the similar reason why Triple Vortex hadn’t operated since 2022 and has only just reopened this season as they were waiting for the court case to be resolved. The park has plans for the speed slides to reopen, but they’re hands are tied until things are resolved.
  13. It can because we’ve just seen the train climb the hill backwards the past 2 years
  14. It was always going to continue the route in this clockwise direction and approach it that way. It’s a lot easier on the diesel train to head down hill. But it would definitely be nice to see them dress the back of the building up so it isn’t a funnel of colorbond
  15. Stars Terrace has been revealed https://www.facebook.com/share/v/1CGkyLx5og/?mibextid=wwXIfr
  16. Just came across this, meaning the new dining outlet is more than likely going to be called 'Stars Terrace'
  17. The park has shared a video on its socials showing the ride in action (during the day)
  18. They have however installed new shading (in the form of permanent umbrellas) over the outside queue area for Scooby since the trees have been removed/majorly trimmed.
  19. Lawsuit must’ve been resolved! I haven’t been to the park in a couple years, but what kind of TLC does it need. They did a park would slide refurb around COVID, so all the attractions are looking pretty good and they’ve finally removed the Wedgie.
  20. I’d even noticed a difference between my mid 2017 and late 2018 visits. During my early 2024 visit we skipped the park because we’d heard the park has been let go a little and there was nothing new to entice us. Next time I’m in Singapore though, I’ll definitely give the park another visit.
