  1. That is very lovely! Genuine candidate for the best week to visit in the year in that case.
  2. There will be closures for scheduled maintenance, and it will be very quiet during the week. Honestly no advice required aside from standard 'get there early'.
  3. It's nice that a positive video is still met with a wave of negativity here. Sometimes I read posts on here from people and think 'Fuck, did we used to date?'
  4. Ah see I'd only be using the back audience seating part. Plenty of room!
  5. I'd like to see the seating area of WB Showcase turned into a Maverick themed Madhouse.
  6. What I like about this is there's a level of consistency here on how it was called out for be being some BS. I thought it was a dumb thing to say at the time, and rappa thought it was so dumb that it wasn't the park that said it. This is true; but if you're putting it right around Superman it kinda should be DC. Wild West isn't the worst idea, but I think one of the things that works massively in favour of West is that you can't see any coasters or anything really from there. It's actually immersive. I'd argue keeping that is worth it.
  7. It did open. It was very late in the day, but it did open.
  8. It's not my fault that you continue to be wrong about this
  9. I would argue that 90% of Nemesis is landscaping and 10% a themed station with a few decorative touches. The design and concept is just so good that it ties in almost perfectly. I'd say it supports my theory too because it demonstrates how important sightlines are and that you can't be immersive if your sightlines aren't fully controlled. Reality is your sightlines will be screwed on a Hyper. Making it look nice is far more important than putting shit around the course. Also Phantasialand is properly mental. That park as a whole is the exception that proves the rule.
  10. I think the SFNE's kinda shows that themeing a big outdoor ride is pointless. Adding junk around a coaster is just adding junk around a coaster, its not creating an immeraive experience. Even when Disney tried it with Incredicoaster it was shit
  11. I think 'seems' is quite an important word in this discussion. The last time Lev was down for the day was about a month ago. It has opened late, and had a few bits of downtime, but it also far more often than not ended the day open and cleared the queue (maybe 2 or 3 days in the month that its closed for the day before closing time?). So while it seems all these awful things, and it has had more downtime than is ideal, it's not as extreme as what you'd think reading parkz. Once you take that into account, there's not really much to it.
  12. Pfft if you could get a Cedar Point scale park in Sydney for $100million it'd be one of the most spectacular investments of all time. A month out from opening announce that you've changed your mind and sell the lot. Walk away with half a billion profit.
  13. Everyone is different. Upside down is scarier than launches for some, some find launches scarier than upside down. There is no 'This is more thrilling than that', it's all personal.
  14. Gee talk about working your way up from the bottom
  15. I probably wouldn't TBH. Grass and palm trees out the front, make the area less cluttered. Anything that fits there you could fit in elsewhere.
  16. I suspect this will be confirmed, but my understanding is Sea World Helicopters has not been run by Sea World/Village for a few years. It's similar to how SW cruises are not directly run by SW but by a 3rd party. Having said that, I think trying to unravel the corperate structure so we can figure out how this might affect different company reputations in the public eye is probably not something we need to be doing at this time.
  17. Just for reference. Can confirm that crowds are more manageable today. Expect it to pick up again on Monday, but it won't reach the same heights of the past few days.
  18. That's a surprise. I wasn't expecting it open at this time. Good news if true.
  19. I think that site is an interesting guide, but I wouldn't take it as gospel.
  20. We talk about how busy the parks are now, the drop off when schools go back is huge. Feb is by far the quietest month of the year, and first Monday Tuesday back are off peak as it gets. DW have had off peak hours for a while now yeah?
  21. Yeah citing the teaser art is a bit like asking 'does anyone think it'll fall over in a stiff breeze as it clearly doesn't have many supports?' Best not to take it literally I'd say
