  1. They haven't stated how many tickets are available, just that there are limited numbers. I asked how many were available per day and I was told that there are 400 tickets allocated each day.
  2. I guess we'll find out in the coming weeks.
  3. Isn't the WWF area being closed and potentially drained for the UTT exclusive maze?
  4. That's the thing, they've built the smoothest coaster and then released the shakiest shittiest POV. Just like the timelapse they released.
  5. That's a perfect example of just how bad the map is
  6. And moving the path to Superman from being inline with the front gates to beginning right next to the department store.
  7. They are happy to let you stand aside and wait for the next train to get a specific seat. I just haven't had a chance to go back since Sunday. I'm hoping the op will be nice and still allow it when I go again on Wednesday.
  8. I've been lucky enough to get on row 10 and I've gotta say. It's the closest you're going to get to the backwards seat while still facing the right way. It is almost as intense as riding it backwards but with the ability to see what's coming up. Whenever I go facing forwards, I'm hoping for row 10.
  9. And we are simply pointing out statistics. Businesses generally care more about the statistics so they are going to make the statistically logical idea and build what the majority want, a large bright pink fuchsia "f*ck you" to the competition. MW is a park more focussed towards adults/thrill seekers. That's why they are putting more effort into turning SW into a more family orientated park. This is where those family friendly attractions will be implemented to cater to the minority who don't enjoy the thrills of MW.
  10. I was the lucky person to be the first member of the GP to ride backwards (Brother and I can be seen on the second train out of the station in the video posted earlier. The first train was primarily filled with VRTP Exec's family members). The coaster has already been summed up beautifully by the previous comments so I'll just say this. This is the single best roller coaster that I have personally been on and riding backwards first was the best decision I have ever made. Backwards was the most amazing way to experience DCR and I cannot wait to try it again.
  11. DW had too many open and operating rides so they had to close Vintage Cars again. Can't have too many of their rides running at once, that might cost money.
  12. Working throughout the night. Dedication! We love you scheduling person.
  13. I have a feeling that's what @jjuttp was referring to. That it was in the original post of upcoming things but not mentioned in the video. Edit: Turns out i'm wrong
  14. Okay, please tell me I'm not the only one who thinks the silhouette on the right looks like Ryu from Street Fighter, mid hadoken?
  15. Whenever I get this response, I normally mention that there's a 200ft tall coaster about to open and their opinion of the parks change pretty quickly.
  16. 32 seconds to neck a beer? Sounds like the new aussie tradition will be to smash a schooner before the first drop.
  17. When I was talking to Guest Services today about something else. The lady I was speaking to mentioned they are hoping to have the coaster open for next Saturday-Monday but all the sudden maintenance is just little things so the park is all nice and pretty looking when the new coaster opens. Same reason as all the Main Street shop front repaints and maintenance, seems they want to have the park in the best condition by the time DCR opens. Also yes, GL was unexpectedly closed as the park opened but it was definitely working again before too long (and the theming I saw around the DCR station area from GL looks pretty good).
  18. The show is being recorded live from SW but they will be doing a live cross to WnW for the weather. I saw a post on WnW's Facebook page earlier today about looking for people to be at WnW for the live cross.
  19. You can bet Greg and the crew will be out there with their new and improved larger microphone to celebrate the crown going on DCR to finish it off.
  20. I'm going to the US in late September and I'll be in Orlando early October, I can't wait to see the photos and thoughts you have on it before I go and experience it myself.
  21. Unless VRTP can buy a second hand B&M for about $12.80, their budget says no to that happening.
