Ideas For The Old Sea Viper Space

Recommended Posts

am I who dislikes fast lift hills? The most thrilling part of the start of the ride is either the G-Forces of a launch or the terrifying anticipation of reaching a tremendous height and hanging over the end of a drop. With such fast lift hills you lose both.

Nah, fast lifts are good....airtime off the top :)

if only seaworld had put some forward thinking into this and removed the sea viper and replaced it with the storm coaster .

and then replaced the Bermuda Triangle  with a new dark ride .                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                     instead of just useing the bermuda site because it was the best space they had in the park at the time .

I feel really bad for MACK that no one has taken the water coaster concept and done anything truely great with it.  It's such a good ride system, and every installation seems underwhelming, unfortunately Storm included.  Having said that, it's definitely fills the hole left by Bermuda much better than it would doing the job of a high end thrill ride. As it is it's a slightly intimidating family ride, the sort of thing that parents will ride with young kids who are feeling adventureous.  It's the sort of ride the park needed to install, and I'm glad they did, but it's not the high end thrill that the park is still lacking.
