  2. Website has now been updated, the current ticket prices are "early bird $10 off" advertised as ending August 21.
  3. Today
  4. DCeased is the worst maze I have ever walked through, and I'm not just counting MW mazes. I would rather Dapto kick me in the jiggly gems, then experience that maze again.
  5. the tickets are cheaper this year but it’s a shame DCeased is still around… i am very curious to see what the new mazes will be, and if the WB Showcase stage will be used at all.
  6. https://vr-tpgoldcoast.secure-cdn.oc.accessoticketing.com/subKeyword/MW - Fright Nights,MW - Fright Nights Passes Direct link to the ticketing site, admission tickets are actually starting cheaper this year (my ticket for the first night last year was $89 vs $79 this year). First Bite has gone from $59 > $69 and no longer lists a viewing area for the opening as a perk, last bite is now a slice of pizza rather than a meal too. Just those that purchase the One Pass + FN Ticket Bundle 2 new mazes to be announced soon, plus Circurse Maze, Hellship Maze and DCeased Maze. There's also to be (mentioned in the inclusions for the event specific photo pass) Maze Photography from inside 2 new mazes to be announced soon, plus DCeased Maze.
  7. Yesterday
  8. The Fright Nights website doesn't show tickets are available yet, but if you go through the ‘theme park tickets’ link at the bottom of the fight nights page. Tickets are from $79 to $99. A season pass is $499 I didn't realise some people could still redeem a ticket? Fast Pass pricing Panic rooms are returning. It seems like there are quite a few this year, but most have been used for several years It seems this years tagline might be 'Terror Runs Deep'. And there will be five mazes again, with two of them new. And the hours are the same as previous years (I believe)
  9. VRTP have teased their afterpay day sale commencing on Thursday. Fright Night tickets are mentioned.
  10. Last week
  11. Video of the actual incident has surfaced. ebf2de6279be4dba8b68afb9394e0c0f.mp4
  12. I liked it! people here can be brutal sometimes lol
  13. 1. No it's not im being 100% serious. 2. Why is everyone being all like mad (well not necessarily mad) at me just because I wanted to show off some logos I made? Can someone explain it to me?
  14. I had a similar experience recently... yours actually sounds worse, which is surprising! It's such a shame seeing the ride in that state. I don't think so, as the geyser is still on which is probably the wettest effect on the ride
  15. It's been like that since the teaser was released It's still open now... those lucky security people
  16. Maybe, but I’m sure I’ve seen it operate during winter before. It also doesn’t actually get riders wet, so it shouldn’t make much of a difference.
  17. Surely a glitch, no way they would they would do a soft opening?
  18. On Queue Park: https://queue-park.com/parks/village-roadshow/warner-bros-movie-world/
  19. I’m sure this is a technical error, but apparently Scooby has a 5 minute wait!
  20. Had a chance to ride WWF for the first time in a while and my God is it in bad shape. Basically none of the effects worked (apart from the geyser and the swinging saloon doors/balcony breaking away in the ghost town). There was no audio around the ride at all, no video in the turntable room and even the water tower before the final lift hill (one of the most consistent effects in my opinion) failed to activate. To add insult to injury, parked directly behind said water tower in plain view was a parade float, completely breaking all immersion. It’s honestly embarrassing that the ride is operating in its current condition.
  21. More info - Slides designed and manufactured by Weigand (Germany). https://www.wiegandwaterrides.de/en/projects/cruise-ships/icon-of-the-seas-royal-caribbean/
  22. While not directly theme park related, this recent incident on Royal Caribbean’s Icon of the Seas is worth noting given the similarities in slide technology that’s has been used in some parks here. A section of one of the ship’s drop slides (the Frightening Bolt) has broken mid-course, with water gushing from the gap. apparently no one was injured, and the slide has since been closed. Still, it is quite alarming to see such a structural failure on a brand-new attraction.
  23. It looks temporary probably because it is. Through the many discussions I’ve had with park management in recent years, they don’t like doing this half assed, and if things don’t look up to scratch to us, then the park will probably agree and will be working on something more permanent when they have the resources and money to do so.
  24. We have well and truly understood your opinion dude.
  25. There was staging lights they were temp . The ones in tunnel have been there for months . They have a lighting issue and this appears there solution . Would be silly to buy and install lights in this way for one event .
