  1. They certainly don't need another spinning flat ride. So why are they adding one? Because it's cheap 'n slutty... oops, I mean easy

  2. If RCDB counts it, I count it.

  4. By your logic is Tower of Terror a ride, too? Bruh tell me about it, huh. The internet is a rough place. Good thing there's a place for like minded people in similar predicaments.

  5. So you've never stopped to consider that your opinion is wrong and you are being obnoxious? It's a coaster. People might not like DW, or see Buzzsaw as unsubstantial compared to coasters with a longer layout ,but it's stupid to say Buzzsaw is not a coaster...You ride in a car along a track, and at atleast one point in the ride you roll uphill under you own kinetic energy. That's a coaster. Well the ride in this pic is also just a lift hill and a turn (And then you're back at the station) Are you saying this is not a coaster then?http://rcdb.com/2613.htm?p=9531 Random point 1: Who else reckons it was a missed chance for a branding tie in (They love em!) With the Red Bull Air race. Random point 2: We could have known about this ride in April. http://www.themeparkpost.com/index/2012180-zamperla-s-air-race-ride-proving-a-success

  6. See that still doesn't confirm it for me. Quite the opposite - the way I read it is the 'confusion' you cite over the terminology actually disproves your theory. How I understand what he has said is as follows: Train 1----------------------------------Train 2----------------------------Train 3 C1 + C2 ------------------------------C3 + C4 -------------------------- C5 + C6 (1 set of 2) ------------------------ (2 set of 2) -------------------- (3 set of 2) I don't really care one way or the other, but you've been banging on about this particular thing for so long, including many other 'facts' that you stated, which turned out to be utter bullshit. It's the boy who cried wolf who no-one believes. You could find an ancient silent movie of LPM showing 17 trains on the track in one single day of operation and nobody would believe it. Quite honestly - you're banging on about this as badly as you banged on about Mack being involved in the restoration, and you're claiming it all to be fact, rather than opinion or view. I'm going to go out on a limb here and suggest that if we put it to a vote, the overwhelming majority of votes cast would say they don't care. Can i ask a mod to add a poll to this thread (or is it better if i create a new one), with the question and choices as follows: Do you believe LPM used to have 6, entirely different, completely independent trains for the scenic railway, each of them a different colour, and each of them with two carriages each (a total of 12 carriages)? (1) Yes (2) No (3) Who cares (4) I believe 3 is the correct number (5) STFU-RWC

  7. I just see Buzzsaw as a lift hill and a turn. But ok. Your opinion.

  8. Hehe. Buzzsaw is MOST definitely a rollercoaster. It's just one that is not that well regarded. As for my take on the new Zamperla ride, I think that it's actually not a bad addition. These rides are fairly new, its an Australian first and I think it will be a big hit with the majority of the Australian public. As for it being marketed as a Big 8 thrill ride? That is indeed a stretch.... And entirely unnecessary. Still, it's a decent attraction that really has no compare in any of the competitor parks. It's a good interim addition.

  10. I am sure I am not the only one who is sick of opening this topic and finding an episode of Jerry Springer happening. Getting back on topic has there been anything else from the park to suggest that there is a new coaster being built. Have to excuse me for not remembering but it seems a while since this topic was last talking about the possibility of a new coaster and not debating the number of carriages/trains on Scenic Railway.

  12. Agree completely with the starting out rosy issue as this is present in every line of work and the quality of guest the park seems to attract with the continuous cheapening of tickets and passes. This is something that has been mentioned a few times before by others on the forums. Main concerns were, yes in uniform so realistically is representing the park. Suited up so obviously admin / managerial role. The fact he actually bumped the pram with his car as he swerved into the car space, I had too move closer to the car so not to be hit, and the speed he did the manouevre when the pram was clearly visible near the back of the car but well within the bay we were parked in was my main issue. Had my son been in the pram at the time there would have been much more of a conversation involved.

  13. Here are some new construction photos of 'Funnel Web' and 'Banjo's Billabong': 'Banjo's Billabong' is nearly completely constructed. Rope bridges and nets are now installed on 'Banjo's Billabong'. The water pumps of 'Funnel Web' which will pump 20,000 litres of water per minute. All water used throughout Jamberoo Action Park is treated to Australian standards and reused throughout the water rides and attractions. Final adjustments being made on 'Funnel Web' which is nearing completion. The outflow flume of 'Funnel Web' being lifted into place. The final piece of 'Funnel Web', which leads into the splash pool, being attached. A conveyor belt will take all of the rafts back to the start tower. All flume sections are now in place including the second (and final) 360 degree turn of 'Funnel Web'. The construction photos are sourced from Jamberoo Action Park's Facebook page.
