Am I the only one cursing the park over the size of that bridge, and wishing they'd made it MUCH wider? As for the water feature speculation, that ring doesn't appear to be level, there doesn't appear to be any waterproofing. Its definitely got something coming to it, but i'm thinking more a daytime version of a nickelodeon light show they have at the resort or something like that.

Don't quote me but did the 20th Birthday parade not start till about September/October. Looking through old threads and picture thats the time period it points to. Found some (not very good) video from the parade itself

Because they usually don't give a new pass if you renew your pass, i'd say the reason for lack of expiry is just that.

Eh, I wish that had been the case with me, @reanimated35. The dude kept harassing me outside of this site in the form of private messages and annoying comments on my blog. Then he started getting up me over responses I had made on here to other people's rants about him (ie. screenshots posted by others of his ridiculous claims on MY blog) and threatening to report me to Facebook Rest assured I'm well and truly over it. I've since blocked him as well on most media formats, so hopefully he will keep his inaccurate information and snide remarks to himself in future and leave me the hell alone ?

Guys there's a lot of people here who don't like him for various reasons. On the plus side however, unlike pop, if we ignore him, he'll go away. If he posts incorrect information on his page, people will slowly start to recognise he may not be the best source of information for things relating to the parks. If he steals images without providing credit, that can be reported to facebook and if it happens too much, facebook will take action. If you're really that concerned, you can also get a cease and desist style letter done up and sent to him. If you're stalking him and his page on facebook just to see what gets said once you've been blocked and only have 1 or 2 accounts to do so with, you're doing it really wrong and need to lift your game. Finally, just be thankful someone is getting to the parks daily and getting photos. Also be thankful we now have @Theme Park Girl getting quite regular and quality photos that aren't just washed out camera phone snaps.

And are they constructing a roof over the arena? Not running the stunt driver for 3 months while it is constructed, utilised and then pulled down? Not gonna happen.

I'm hoping for a classic style ride rather than something ultra modern. What I'd really love in the Tango Train space is one of those old school flying chair rides like they had at the park in the 1980's when I was a kid. Not one of those tacky clothesline looking jobs, one of those nicely detailed big ones. I don't think a scream machine type ride would be very well suited to that particular spot (although I do think these type of rides would be good in a refurbished Maloneys Corner area!) For me the park is all about that classic retro feel, particularly the area between the entry and Coney Island, and that seems to be what they're building on, so here's hoping for another classic ride that's a fitting replacement for the classic Tango Train!

haven't responded yet, I should say I'm not the only the one who thinks he's page is a choke hazard, I know there are others who agree with that statement, to TTPSN who is reading this, if you can't handle being criticised for what you are doing, don't do it the first place also if you have a problem with the group, just ignore it or contact Richard, I know Richard will be happy to speak to you all about this scenario, is there a way to get him IP banned from the site? EDIT: ok, so I banned him off page as he did it to me, fight fire with fire they say ? and also thank you 200+ reputation better than -91

Some Sea World photos from today! New bridge is finished, just needs a bit of tidying up and it will be ready for the public to use Food plaza construction photos.... I reckon a fountain or water feature may be going in here ^^^^^ as it has a bunch of hoses and pipes sticking out of the ground in the center of it! Thoughts? One of the artist's impressions of the new area is plastered on the side of the dividers... Sideshow thing relocated to under Dockside is doing quite well... A popup shop has appeared outside of the Monorail station near the front of the park, since obviously they can't trade in the Plaza area atm! The permanently closed water park is still untouched, although the swimming pools have been refilled by all the rain in the past couple of days lol... Annnnd last but not least, here's Hudson trying to squish himself inside a blue tub Yup @themagician. Due to numerous roadblocks, the only way to get between the front and the back of the park now is via COTD path, leading into the kids area. Then you have to go up the path under the bridge between JSR & Flume to access everything beyond that. The walkway at the Ray Reef entrance that goes toward Polar Bear Shores (where the time share stand used to be) is also closed off, as is Ray Reef atm for maintenance, which means you have to then go down the path past the flume drop and up toward the castle in order to access Polar Bears, Shark Bay and the back of the park. Some attractions are now sitting in temporary dead ends as well, which means you have to back track afterwards. Its a serious pain in the ass, especially with the monorail down!

I don't really like the park all that much and don't go often, but I'm considering dropping in at lunch time a few days a week with a camera just to rack up the sweet Parkz post karma.

Didn't you used to love those park tapes they used to have in the 90s? I collected a few before they stopped making them.

Mods, please move this one. Had never heard of Fantasy Glades until today, so went and had a look at their facebook and was shocked to see over 4000 likes (almost as much as Movie World and it hasnt even opened - very impressive). I have to say I'm quite jealous of the new owners, they sound like they got it for a bargain and now they have all these people volunteering free time to help them get it re-opened. Sounds like a dream start.

You should try your chances and ride it again.
