While DW are at it's ok to accidentally remove MDMC.

Demolition has now commenced

No pictures atm folks but two shipping containers have arrived in the DW CarPark this morning currently stationed where Fully6 was stored till it’s installation

Contractors on site today Right near Motocoaster this is all fenced off presumably easier access for the deconstruction process

Oh man, I hope they get the shaded seating area up and running again soon. Dreamworld management must be devastated that one of their key attractions is fenced off like that.

So the Helicopter was a car park coaster?

The electromagnets would be of some value I'd expect, as well as the substantial amount of copper wiring.

A coaster bordering a car park isn't a car park coaster. There must be some interaction between the 2.

Judging by the yellow 'above head height' boards, and the flooring colour change, its probably somewhere near that arrow.

There's a lot to consider here. My thinking is they will perhaps take over the top carpark outside BB studios. It'd make sense for them to utilise the driveway access behind Buzzsaw and over the train line into the old studio entrance. The entrance driveway can be diverted down the side road used for exiting with some small modifications, diverting all traffic around that top section of carpark and allowing unfettered access from the carpark to the construction site without needing traffic control. But right now, we're still expecting earthworks, and like with Rivals, the first objects to arrive were the mounting plates \ bolts \ miscellaneous stuff for the footerings* I'd suggest until we see large scale track arrival, they don't need to be walling off large areas of prime carpark, and storing down the bottom of WWW puts them out of the way of most guests, for objects easily moved about with forklifts.

Think the rocking boat concept has some real merit but would have to be well themed and customised to really suit the surroundings.

There would be an obvious gravitational pull towards the side of the tower with the track, but as you have said there is no way that removing said track would effect the stability of the tower. The tower would have had to have been constructed in such a way as to survive cyclone seasons, like how steel Dragon at Nagashima was, and look i'm no expert but I'd say if it managed to endure Larry and Yasi that removing the track wouldn't have much of an on effect the structural integrity of the tower. Needless to say that the tower should go through a scrutinous structural and engineering review process before and after removal.

I would not be surprised at all if the vertical track is not removed. Excuse my potential ignorance, but I would imagine doing so would require re-certification of GD given that any significant work on the tower would need to be inspected, approved for GD to operate due to potential structural engineering implications. would be much simpler for them to remove the horizontal track without touching the tower.

It is likely there will be different contractors for the coaster construction vs the removal of the TOT. It unfortunately isn’t that simple. They will likely remove the horizontal track during MDMC maintenance and then the vertical track during GD maintenance
