  1. December 30 image on https://www.terraserver.com/ should be the same as it is today - albeit with less grass. It looks like the turnaround near Top Golf could be an overbanked turn as opposed to a dive loop or immelmann. It looks like just before this turn, the in and out parts twist over each other?
  2. I have no concerns with bag checks at theme parks. Have experienced it at Disney and Universal, helps you feel safer, and would certainly catch those planning on disrupting the day of others at the very least.
  3. The part of Dreamworld that's a memory black hole of sorts for me, is the Creature Cruise ('97-'00), I'd imagine is where the ball house is today. I have no memory of this family ride.
  4. Just for my own understanding. My memories of Village Green don't go as far as where TI stands today.
  5. Apparently you forgot to attach a photo of what you're being cryptic about.
  6. Thanks @Jamberoo Fan I was about to remind everyone we've spoken about this a few times over the last few months. However I agree with others in that thread that Vintage Cars in the old TRRR channel would be in terrible taste. That ride site must be completely replaced. I still agree with some early posts from after the tragedy, a lawn or garden for a year or so would be tactful, unless the entire Gold Rush (apart from BS) is removed.
  7. @themagician, in addition to what @AlexB has said, the old Skull entry was between where Pandamonium and Gingy's are, there's a squirting-water-jet-thingy area there now. As for ToT, there was two elevators leading into the "wedge" shaped queue room that's now got a switchback queue, red floor and silver walls. You were sorted into car groups before going into one of the elevators, one went up as the other came back down. Similar to the one that takes you down to the shop after the ride. (I've not been in a few years, that elevator's still there, right?) If you watch THIS video, at 1:40 you see two doors with yellow sticker on the right before the stairs, these are the elevator doors. In Richard's writeup in September 2010, he posts a pic of the exit of one of the elevators. When in the "wedge" room you lined up against a wall and were given instructions by a ride op, before moving into the room before the ride's doors. I'm thinking that meant there were at least 4 staff on ToT, probably 5. - Elevator sorter. - Wedge room greeter / person who put you into room with footprints before ride. - 2 Ride Ops. - Possible entry person at Skull to measure kids height etc.
  8. Not necessarily - The 501st themselves and Dreamworld have been at this many years now.
  9. How many of you were in on this? Looks like an epic setup brought suddenly crashing down by @JaggedJanine!
  10. A few Zero-G rolls would certainly suffice over a loop. I expect some kind of inversion, just to highlight its' difference to Superman Escape for the General Public.
  11. No, THIS is Dreamworld's new coaster going in! (Might actually be Storm Chaser..)
  12. Just one day left for the Planet Coaster merchandise sale - shipping is free worldwide. I can confirm, I just designed and bought a Street Fox Coffee shirt to puzzle my local hipsters. Source & link: Planet Coaster tweet. I just wish the Aussie Dollar was stronger against the Pound.
  13. From memory, the train trip to Disney wasn't that bad, and I'm saying that as a family that had to change lines during the journey. Something to keep in mind is the time of year you're going and if you plan to stay for the fireworks. In summer the fireworks are very late, and you'd not make it back to Paris until well after midnight. We didn't have much in the way of personal safety concerns until we noticed we were the only ones to disembark and exit the Metro. Fortunately our Airbnb accommodation was a block from the station, and past a late-night café.
  14. If the main MW carpark was made into a multilevel basement, we'd have as much room as we wanted for everything. Grassy field all the way to AOS.
  15. Reanimated, I suggest subscribing to heaps of "main street" blueprints and either mod them into MW's main street, or learn how they've been customised to make your own.
  16. I agree with @ash.1111. USO has some huuuuge multilevel carparks, extremely close to the entertainment precinct (Citywalk) that feeds straight into Universal & Islands of Adventure. The carparks have travelators to help with families and the less abled cover the distances. They have a few carparks, so theme them to various IP characters.
  17. I always liked the historic feel of the train journey - now past a 'classic' Aussie Commodore!
  18. I really don't get enough time to play as much as I want to. I'm very slowly working on a rainforest map. Trying to make an RMC Hybrid that fits the theme.
  19. As a buffer of sorts for the Studios, so perhaps a thrilling dark ride (ie Mummy at Orlando). I don't believe the yellow area is big enough for the entertainment/hotel precinct.
  20. How many of these are breakdowns, and how many e-stops? [edit - 300th post in 12 years! Yes I was away before it changed to Parkz. Btw what happened to the member who had the bus driver posts?]
  21. Yep, soakup 'sand'. ...maybe that's how we lost the shark. They forgot to use it once.
  22. E-stop? Rollback? Failed Launch? Could you be any less specific?
