  1. If the main MW carpark was made into a multilevel basement, we'd have as much room as we wanted for everything. Grassy field all the way to AOS.
  2. Reanimated, I suggest subscribing to heaps of "main street" blueprints and either mod them into MW's main street, or learn how they've been customised to make your own.
  3. I agree with @ash.1111. USO has some huuuuge multilevel carparks, extremely close to the entertainment precinct (Citywalk) that feeds straight into Universal & Islands of Adventure. The carparks have travelators to help with families and the less abled cover the distances. They have a few carparks, so theme them to various IP characters.
  4. I always liked the historic feel of the train journey - now past a 'classic' Aussie Commodore!
  5. I really don't get enough time to play as much as I want to. I'm very slowly working on a rainforest map. Trying to make an RMC Hybrid that fits the theme.
  6. As a buffer of sorts for the Studios, so perhaps a thrilling dark ride (ie Mummy at Orlando). I don't believe the yellow area is big enough for the entertainment/hotel precinct.
  7. How many of these are breakdowns, and how many e-stops? [edit - 300th post in 12 years! Yes I was away before it changed to Parkz. Btw what happened to the member who had the bus driver posts?]
  8. Yep, soakup 'sand'. ...maybe that's how we lost the shark. They forgot to use it once.
  9. E-stop? Rollback? Failed Launch? Could you be any less specific?
  10. For a lot of people, this is their only time of year that they even consider going to the park. Some are here from interstate with rental cars, some are on family holidays and are visiting from as far away as Coffs, Toowoomba & Noosa.
  11. I've been a fan of entertainment precincts around MW and DW since I firsted visited CityWalk Orlando in 2009. Cinemas, Nightclubs, Restaurants, Bowling, Hotels very close by. I've always imagined this to not be inside Dreamworld's fence, but in the carpark in a way you can still see the entry building of the park from the M1. To me, any land inside the fence is for the park itself to use as rides and attractions. I'd rather BL and the Amphitheatre not be used for Main Event.
  12. There's been so much talk about this on this forum both before and after the TRRR incident. We could go back to Gazza's coaster, or more recently, ideas raised since February include: a Rainforest theme ( @Life ? ) a new Mountain/Mine theme cart ride/runaway train/spinner mouse/RMC Hybrid all suggested (a large number of members) Spinning Coaster ( @Santa07) Drunken Barrels as an extenstion to Gold Rush ( @Slick) A Saloon (Me) Dark/Sinister area (you, @joz, before the accident) Dark Ride (track or water - many members)
  13. This. I want this. Do yourself a favour and view full-size.
  14. I agree with @Jamberoo Fan in regards to Dreamworld bringing the motoring themed areas together, not that they ever would. Bring Vintage Cars and MDMC up to that part of the park somehow. The land MDMC occupies is a perfect spot for something else, and if RHLR goes, the new theme opportunity can stretch from MDMC's entry all the way to DW Auditorium. So. Much. Land. Back on topic, I agree with @Life with DW doing more Australiana and adding a Rainforest theme. Lots of potential, especially for @Slick and others' RMC/woody suggestion.
  15. The themes I'd like to see aren't able to be licensed to any parks in Australia. Star Wars - Disney My dream ride is a speeder bike Endor ride. Dark ride - inside Death Star with ride cars as x-wings, like Return of the Jedi. Multiple launch coaster - Pod Race. Snow Speeder motion control ride (like Star Tours at Disney or B:TR @ Movieworld). Family walkthrough - Ewok Tree Village. Food area: Mos Eisley Cantina. Indiana Jones - Disney Mine Cart ride inspired by Temple of Doom. Water Rapids ride/Dark Water ride - Temple of Doom rapids, turns into something like Pirates of the Caribbean. Food area - Club Obi Wan (wait, what?!??), WW2 era Dirigible (projected sky outside windows). Ride similar to Revenge of the Mummy, but both indoor and outdoor using the opening scene in Raiders of the Lost Ark (idol, boulder in cave, jungle escape). Jurassic Park - Universal So instead, my other ideas include: Retro (50s) SciFi Fantasy inspired by Lord of the Rings Steampunk Motoring - hot/classic cars, racing cars, motor bikes, vintage cars.
  16. Arkham VR is now being advertised on one of the road billboards at Brisbane Airport. It's definitely operational?
  17. I hope they go with Mystery Incorporated - a more modern take albeit just as spooky/quirky as the previous versions.
  18. Not new. I recall seeing it in the construction photos thread. At least, the yellow part. [EDIT - I was wrong, it's first shown on September 27, on Page 10 of this thread. ]
  19. I almost threw up watching that woody on the off camber banked corners! Fun otherwise, especially the area before the lift hill.
  20. All VRTPs have been given the all-clear after safety audit. Strange that VRTP have chosen this point in time to make a press release. Maybe relevant to Maxx's post right above this?
  21. And for those playing the drinking game, I say: A new Nearmap image would really help us figure out the layout, as most/all(?) footers are now in?
  22. I see no reason for it to stay there, even if they build a brand new Gold Rush, the Eureka mountain sits over TRRR, they'll likely both come down, with Skylift station as well. It'll cost less for the contractor to pull it all out in one job. I'll miss the ride, it was awesome. Loved the run out of the mountain and implying you'd go flying into TRRR's lake, loved the dips and cutbacks. I just can't see it staying SBNO if there's major demolition in that themed area.
