  1. Timing dependent Id say. If it stays stacked for too long likely goes into fault.
  2. That's hilarious. Is there a day Scooby doesn't have a stop? That ride has so many blocks and sensors it's rare it doesn't need to stop during the day. Then they state the annual maintenance like it's a bad thing. Lmao
  3. But then probably winge that they don't build you a 30 million dollar record breaking coaster...
  4. As far as I recall the most expensive attraction at MW was Wild West Falls and that doesn't even count for inflation. That budget wouldn't even be a quarter of what's required for a Spider-Man Type ride and it's been years since even that kind of money was spent.
  5. The casino will have extensive parking and I'm sure that'll be a deal done with Sea World.
  6. Been beating this horse for 9 years but I still say mad house for the win!
  7. I guess the thing is whilst the raft itself would have a weight limit that wouldn't necessarily correlate to the weight limit for it's use on each slide. Weight limits for various slides would differ depending on the layout of the slide, elements, etc mostly to control speed. So publishing the stats may cause confusion.
  8. Actually works out $4 more at $9 per month versus $2 week also.
  9. Really? Is it? We hadn't noticed. Thank you so much for pointing this out.
  10. I don't even know what that post was meant to be... Bored? I don't know how many times I have to stay this, can you please stop feeling the need to be self appointed forum moderator and spokesperson.
  11. Looks to me that car has no side or under wheels currently in place??
  12. I should add that I didn't say Disneyland because it just goes without saying that everyone should go. Ive probably been there 8 times I think since I was 20 and will still visit every time I fly to LA. There is *something* about that park that you won't feel until you're there.
  13. As much as I have no desire to see a doctor who ride at Sea World I'll play devils advocate for a minute and say before Bermuda we had a ride about a flooded mine. Apart from the fact you were in a boat and there was water it wasn't exactly 'on theme' for the park was it.
  14. Ha, California Screamin was worse, brake failure PLUS control system design against manufacturers recommendations :p
  15. Give it some thought though... Because they really are all inferior to the LA versions and the other parks offer some really unique attractions.
  16. What is the factual basis for any of your comments? What is this "more and more injuries" nonsense? Even it you've heard of more, that's more a reflection of the internet and media today and any exponential trend. And if I were six flags Id be insulted as to you implying their maintenance was sub par compared to Disneyland. You've got no idea what maintenance regimes they have. Would you say the same about Dreamworld? To put Disney up as a poster for maintenance is laughable. Their lack of maintenance standards have killed people! Regardless of who was in charge of the company, that's irrelevant here.
  17. I'm going to be different here and say don't go to Magix Kingdom! Go to studios or Animal Kingdom earlier and Epcot later. Why? Because MK is really no different to Disneyland except it's bigger and every attraction is inferior, and Wishes is just a Disney fireworks show. You can see everything that's at MK at Disneyland, and Disneyland is far easier to visit from Australia. The other parks are unique and you certainly can't take care of Epcot quickly because if you're just hitting rides you're entirely missing the point. The park has so much more to offer in World Showcase and Illuminations is a completely unique show. I wouldn't trade it for 'fireworks over a castle' when DL does that so much better anyway.
  18. Umm it's the first vertical looping coaster in the world and an ACE classic coaster. I doubt they will remove it until the day they can no longer keep it running and I'm glad for that. How old is the Matterhorn again?
  19. Yup sounds to be the whole setup out there is just like at the Canyon West Rim and possibly even worse so think the review is pretty darn fair. And yeah regardless of the price, don't call yourself 4 star if you're really a shitty motel.
  20. No some people are just self appointed moderators. Can sum it up nice and brief and keep on topic. Just try not to quote all huge posts all the time. We will understand what you're talking about.
  21. What I like is we have a bunch of articles coming out of the UK basically saying "how dare they not permanently close any ride that has a malfunction at all during the day" And at the same time local press reporting "how dare the parks have any attractions not operating" You teally can't win as a park operator.
  22. Yeah rock and roller coaster is silky smoothe and so is Tennasee Tornado. Corkscrew was the same. Id id say their rides are just more susceptible to bad track fabrication/installation and poor train maintenance.
