Did anybody ride Triple Vortex today. if so what was it like?

I rode it yesterday and it was moderate. It seemed to be just a funnel one after another with no drops what so ever in between, just a flat slide and the odd corner. The part I did enjoy the most was the dark section nearest the end of the ride. However it was enjoyable and would definitely ride again. Also a quick tip for those yet to ride it, you go up the BRO flight of stairs, not the RIP. I saw a numerous amount of people make it all the way up the RIP stairs to find out they were wrong and had to go all they way back down.

No drops whatsoever, and a flat ride with odd corners?? I'm assuming you are still in the slide then, given you don't go down...??

I'll be heading back out to Dreamworld & White Water World on Tuesday so I'll see what I can do about photos. Not sure how you expect a POV though.

^I would say you would be allowed to attach a GoPro to you, but I would imagine you would have to ask the customer service desk for permission.

I thought they were all uptight about taking anything on any ride/slide. I don't have a GoPro though, have looked into getting one though. Off topic question, which would be the best option with GoPro and accessories which isn't too expensive? Going to the states at the end of the year and would be good for getting some footage.

I think there's the 3 and 3+, I've seen the specs but a lot of the figures don't mean a thing to me.

slick, yeah thats cool. I think we need a parkz update soon at either Dreamworld and White Water World, MovieWorld or Wet and Wild. At Dreamworld and White Water World we need some photos of TailSpin, Thunder River Rapids new fence, the new coffee shop and obviously Triple Vortex. Parkz need some photos of MovieWorlds new Junior Driving School. And we also need a update on Wet and Wild's Junior attraction and the new shelters near the wave pool. parkz is in need of some updates. (just my opinion).

How about you just look at the countless uploaded pics from the past couple days that show nearly everything you've asked for, or go down yourself, and then share your photos (which I'm certain won't look like they were taken with a potato...)

If you want the best of the best, you need the Hero3+ Black. It does 2K and 4K resolutions and a bunch of other stuff you probably will never use, but it's future proof for a while at least. Plus it's 12 megapixel vs 5mp on the standard (white) edition.

You've got white<silver<black.

But again, depends what you need and what your budget is really.

Now I'm going to let you get back on topic while I go back to being 5 years behind everyone else and watch Community which I just discovered the other day is quite an awesome show.

I'm popping up to DW in January. Is a Gopro advised for a POV on the rides? If yes, what mount?

I'm using it on Tail Spin and Triple Vortex, maybe Cyclone or even TOT2.

They're banned on rides except the rapids as far as I'm aware.

I think WWW is a different story but you'd have to check with guest relations.
