  1. Past hour
  2. Village know people like to give them money for nothing. E.g. Village Key, Tiktok.
  3. Yesterday
  4. Maybe they’re increasing the price of renewals on the 11th of Nov, and the price of new passes on the 10th of Dec (just before the holidays)? Either way, making the process significantly more confusing than it needs to be, to the surprise of nobody.
  5. "beat the price rise 10 DEC" they arent going to increase it twice right...
  6. Luna Park Sydney's Wild Mouse appears to be fully re-assembled now and looks good. In other news, Halloscream sucked less this year (was absolutely abysmal last year and great in 2022).
  7. They're all pretty new from the looks of it They didn't even bring back their Daytona machines
  8. My family and I were looking through old Movie World stuff until I came across the Stunt Driver stuff and this thread It's a shame the Stunt Driver show hasn't improved since the accident. It's been nearly a decade and you'd think they would've come up with something better at this point, if I wanted to watch cars go around in a circle I'd just go watch Bathurst instead
  9. The year is 2024 and they're still driving around in circles
  10. I sure there is a way you could paint it. The problem with fiberglass is it shatters. The reason why clear fiberglass roof panels always end up looking shit. If the slides are made of fiberglass, it was always always on the cards this could happen. Structurally the slides could be fine, but visually, you wouldn't send your mother-in-law down one.
  11. I don’t believe so. Can you just repaint transparent fibreglass or is it a more complex process compared to all of the other slides in the park?
  12. I'd imagine that's possibly part of the reasoning as to them removing them?
  13. @New display name got to start somewhere
  14. Interesting section to start the removal. 🤔
  15. Last week
  16. It appears they’ve started disassembling the Aqualoop.
  17. In response to your first answer: So this seems like they did this:
  18. @themagician 2 answers to your question. (that way I can't be wrong) 1. Rides close at 10pm & event continuous to 12am. or 2. The people running the event have applied for a temporary relaxation to the rules. When the hotel across the road was approved, a time curfew for events was written into the approval. The hotel has a time curfew for events but the hotel is allowed to exceed that curfew a certain number of times a year.
  19. 6pm to Midnight! Impressive. Have noise restrictions recently changed for DW because they used to only be able to operate rides until 10pm?

  21. I believe each manufacture has it's own commissioning program. I know what Mack do because I have a copy of their commissioning process, but I don't know Vekoma. The Leviathan's manufacture engineer, was in the control both after the ride opened watching, every cycle.
  22. As I understand it, bulk of the commissioning process takes place by the property. Manufacture runs the first cycles, before it's handed over to maintenance, and then to operations to complete the required cycles. Bulk of the work takes place by DW, hence my comment on them commissioning the attraction. Enough clarity for you champion?
