  1. I rode it at Mall of America, it's good but you get spritzed with water more than a ride at Universal Studios.

  5. Introducing an all-new experience on Dreamworld's #1 attraction, Sky Voyager! For a limited time, you can take flight and see America's greatest sights aboard Sky Voyager Experience USA, with the new film available daily from 10:00AM – 3:30PM upon the park's 16 September re-opening. Aboard Sky Voyager Experience USA, you will experience iconic locations such as the islands of Hawaii, the city scape of New York and Niagara Falls, just to name a few. You can still journey around Australia from 3:30PM - 5:00PM daily with free passage across state borders for some of the country’s most incredible sights. I think this is a great addition and shows how easily they can change the attraction when they want. And it’s good to see they are still offering the Australia version, so really you get two attractions in one. Hopefully they advertise this in park as it will give people a reason to re-ride it

  6. Used to be where the Nick\Dreamworks entrance is, didn't they? Agree - using the fountain for that sort of thing was a bit tasteless, but if you have an asset that can generate revenue unused after a refurb - why wouldn't you deploy it in another capable location? I'd have loved to have seen them run in the wipeout pool - that would've been fun.

  9. Not sure of this is old stuff so I'll post it here. If anyone has Disney plus I recommend watching the series "The Imagineering story" Great behind the scenes stuff and really shows not only how far disney has come with ride tech but also how they are pioneers in "theme" parks.

  11. Not to derail the conversation too much, however... ...If it's owned by News Corporation it's propaganda and not news.

  15. True. I did see a few weeds though. So they’re weed beds In regards to Raging Waters. I assume that method is what they are doing at their international parks, but I don’t think that system works here. And you have to reserve the day and time you want to go. Which could mean, you can’t spontaneously go. And limiting at 500 people is crazy. Isn’t that park bigger than WnW, and yet their allowing a few thousand (50%). The park already isn’t that popular, and this will make it even less appealing. I guess with a 4 hour session and only 500 people allowed, that in theory means you’ll be able to get on all slides, possibly multiple times. Which could make the $50 worth it

  16. Plenty of action happening at Dreamworld and WWW today. You can really see they are wanting to get the park looking it’s best for its opening next week. New signage at the entrance Garden beds are getting new mulch and there were Gardner’s at the entrance gates Slides at WWW are getting tested too

  18. You don't get how the media works... Any mention of Dreamworld for years to come, court case or not, will usually get tagged with some reference to the incident. It's a bit how 'hard luck' family stories on the news as early as September start referencing 'just XX weeks before Christmas. Happens every year. The media just try to add more emotion to stories to get a reaction and I think it's quite likely the TRRR incident will continue - even if the park was bought by new owners, even if they changed the name - it'll still be 'the place where 4 people tragically lost their lives'
