Nice find! Looks like the Big Dipper will use a tire propulsion launch system (rather than an LSM launch). Similar to Jet Rescue & MDMC. Notice the large slots in the launch track ready for the tires to be installed.

In case anyone was wondering if they’ve removed any of the TOT track from the tunnel yet… they haven’t

Demolition is happening within the Trolls Village Its good to see the river again Vintage Cars now takes photos They have replaced a fence along the train line, it’s a shame they don’t continue this further instead of using pool fencing

You'll see the full tunnel removal before the track gets removed from in there

I doubt they'll selectively remove any, they'll just cut it up along with the rest of the tunnel when the demolition eventually happens.

Good to see they are saving some of the rustic theming from demolition. It would be good to see it placed in the Vintage Cars

You could say the same for Vikings at Sea World. I guess because of its age and it being built in house, the park didn’t want to take risks. They had already made modifications to the ride with the cage. There might have been some issues with the pumps/motors, but it is my understanding they definitely could’ve been replaced

Could just be really uneducated, but was there actually any legitimate reason for the log ride to close? Surely a log flume wouldn't cost all that much to maintain and operate? If it's to move past the Parks Gold rush era, i get that, but still, just seems very sad and wasteful.

Just found a translated version of a French interview with peeps from Intamin, It was from last year, but offers the specs of the Big Dipper I haven’t seen before! Idk if this had been shared here before? But I found it on Reddit. Apparently will have a height of around 24m and track length of 600m which is interesting. They did change the speed to 72km/hr, so obviously these stats might change, but they give a fairly good insight on what the Hot Racer is all about. Clearing the site

The music in Main Street has change from pop music to ragtime styled music. It definitely changes the atmosphere of Main Street. Small changes like these make huge differences. Hopefully they do the same with the Gold Coaster’s queue as the ride is themed to circa 1970s Gold Coast yet it currently plays modern day pop music.
