Sorry, I just took the opportunity to hang shit on the ride. DD & MC are my go-tos.

In a way it shows how incompetent our local journalists have become - they all drove past a valleyed roller-coaster that was in plain sight to cover a news story about another valleyed roller-coaster that they had no chance of seeing. Even the language I saw being used was clearly heightened to get clicks - “rescue”, “trapped”, “stuck,” “movie world blames guest” - like give me a god damn break.

hopefully they can sort all of these ride closures out within the next two weeks, if they all still remain closed in the holidays that’ll be embarrassing…

Thunderbolt was rubbish. BUT! If I die and the afterlife is a theme park with those rides to choose from, Thunderbolt would be the first ride I would go on. That won't be what the afterlife is like for me though; I've been good 😇

Wipeout lasted 25 years. The Claw is 18 years old now.

If 4 major rides are closed I'm not gonna go just to ride a gyro swing 🤷‍♂️

Clearly the park is at fault, there's not even a sign telling guests to leave their clothes on during the ride! 🙄

The attraction stopped between block sections due to loose clothing getting caught up within the wheels. QFS were needed as the attraction wasn't within it's normal evacuation space.

Sledgehammer is a Zamperla, SF360 is im pretty sure a Technical Park Typhoon 360 model. If they were to replace Doomsday with anything it should be the original attraction they are planning tbh🤷‍♀️

They didn't have to get a license for it so no need for a press release

Loving the enthusiasm for press releases everyone! Believe me I'd love nothing more than a homepage full of fresh stories from operators big and small. We can only share the releases we receive, though I can honestly say that we do share literally everything vaguely relevant that lands in our inbox, as I think an investor release about a WHS license demonstrates. Do feel free to reach out to the parks you've all mentioned here and suggest they get in touch with us. We only play favourites insofar as we'll publish it if they are proactive enough to send us a release in the first place.
