  1. Why don't you read all the bad comment about Cedar Point for putting in their Dive Coaster Valravn. There are tones of comments saying it looks so tame and a shitty design and so on…. Even reading TPR thread on Cedar Point has had a lot of negative complaints for them putting in a dive coaster. Yet I see nothing wrong with it. I hate that people complain about having 4 B&M's in ONE PARK! Yet in Australia we can't even get one.

  2. Could the building demolition be just for those smaller western-style buildings/facades next to the show stage? I would also be a bit disappointed to see the show stage go, only because I know how much Village likes to re-purpose existing buildings for new indoor/dark rides, rather than go to the expense of building entirely new ones. I understand the show stage is too small for a traditional dark ride, but it could always be extended (as I believe Scooby was when it was converted from Gremlins). Also, it could surely fit a themed compact coaster -- something along the lines of the Dark Knight coaster at Six Flags. As I've said before, this would also solve any noise issues. Regarding any potential new coaster - lift hill please! I am not a fan of the intensity of launches, plus Superman is such a famous launcher already. And Australia needs a massive, suspenseful lift hill!

  4. Ha! I am most certainly not a movie world employee or a clue, I’m just a person like you that loves theme parks! Personally for the parks sake I would like a something on the WWF/Scooby end of the spectrum. High capacity, mild thrills, immersive experience with a mixture of indoor and outdoor sections. Something to fill the void of an attraction that would be palatable to a wide audience of thrill tolerances. But on the other end I would love an expanded western area with a woodie but that’s just me compensating for the lack of Dollywood in Australia, I’m a sucker for country western themed anything!

  5. Yeah nah I agree haha they are a lot of fun! Transformers is my favourite Although they do cost a bit if you want a really well themed awesome ride.

  6. I thought it was covered pretty well in the article. RCDB don't post things they don't know to be true, while speculation on a forum is just that and to be interpreted accordingly. The article I wrote was a mix of what we know to be true, plus a roundup and elaboration of speculation that's out there. I'd like to think it was written well and we're respected enough that we're not contributing to the idle gossip like most of the hyperbole-laden coverage that has appeared since the construction fences appeared.

  7. I think they know that they desperately need a roller coaster more than a Spin and Spew,

  8. the only park on the gold coast that needs a new roller coaster is dreamworld . VRTP parks already have roller coasters i wish thay would start thinking outside the box and add some non roller coaster attractions

  10. ^I just checked RCDB, they just list it as a rollercoaster, no mention of Mack. I've found with RCDB, details don't go up until they are confirmed facts. Three interesting aspects are they identify the coaster as steel, sit down and most tamtalisingly: "extreme". Anyway, the Churro Death Cart Coaster will add a nice Mexican flavour to the park. Soon, we'll know.

  11. Surprisingly, yes! Wooden coasters have a very different feel to typical steel coasters.
