Some sage advice - opinions are like arseholes, everyone has one. To add - just because I’m able to articulate mine well doesn’t give you recourse to be petty and spiteful just because you’re butt hurt. No one’s shouting, no one’s got attitude, no one’s using their forum title as a means to win a debate - you’re clearly just taking a debate about letters on a cylinder far too seriously and far too personally. Chill out, it’s all good. None of this matters.

Poor BuzzSaw.... It's like when you head into the suburbs and see an old couple still living in their 1970s fibro cottage (Hi Mum & Dad), and then someone buys up the house next door, bulldozes it and builds a 3 storey mansion, and then they are living in someones shadow until the day they die.

With this level of investment, asking a realistic price for an annual pass is a welcome change. No more cheap annual passes!

Trains revealed for Little Nipper :

-The slide is now a proper rally racer, with the final drop being enclosed, and a short open air section after the braided section, as well as a short one just after the start line (similar to Red Belly Racer at Gumbuya) @joz probably doesn’t like this since you only have limited chances to see your mates competing in parallel. -They’ve come to their senses and put the two speed slides on one side, so they wont have to split the queueing. One of them will be a turbo tunnel, which looks awesome. Happy to have a normal speed slide back in the country too!

When I went past this morning you could see that most of the upwards sweep into the first overbank was in place. Definitely looking more like a rollercoaster now from the M1.

They'd make more money if people could visit the stores & food outlets and weren't stuck in two hour queues anyway.

Yeah, nah, sorry - if there's one thing these parks have taught us it's that you can't just give them benefit of the doubt that they will make an effort where that's all it takes. You also can't with a straight face justify such terrible customer experience as "claw back some profits after Covid" as if that's something people should just accept without scrutiny.

It may be 45 days since the article was posted but here is the full article below complete with the new design of Velocity Falls, which was submitted to Kiama Municipal Council as a DA modification last Winter. It also reveals Jamberoo Express is getting an upgrade & expansion (I assume the new 'track' (concrete path) that was proposed in the Kangaroo Island DA that goes from the Funnel Web observation deck to The Taipan via Velocity Falls's bridge is being built as part of this development allowing a full circumnavigation of the main areas of the park). Lastly, it reveals, Platypus River, Kangaroo Island's lazy river, complete with wave machine, is the next development. Quid pro quo - I had a guest out the front of the skull a week after closure ask me why tower was closed. With Mine Ride, it was almost entirely obscured to the point where it looked like theming, that's why no-one was the wiser. It also wasn't the park's signature ride for over two decades. I’d actually argue that you’re clutching at straws and missing my main point entirely, which is having tower of terror written 100m in the air despite the ride being closed for some time is not a good impression for the park’s turnaround.
