  1. 1. Twisted Colossus 2. Tatsu 3. DC Rivals 4. X2 5. Superman Escape 6. Batman The Ride 7. Apocalypse 8. GhostRider 9. Big Thunder Mountain 10. Riddler's Revenge (couldn't really decide on a 10th so this was at random)
  2. I am sure Cedar Point would disagree with that statement.
  3. A beer exported by Australia to less fortunate countries who think it's what we drink.
  4. Great work Dreamworld for actually announcing the attraction before anything significant has begun construction wise! Loved Soarin' over California (didn't get to experience the new one as it was closed last visit) and to have something like that is a great move for the park and something I am looking forward to. The dark ride is interesting, could there be a chance of having another Sally Corp creation in Australia?
  5. Free lockers wouldn't work with the dry side of the park next door now that it is one giant park. People would use all the free lockers in the water park instead of the dry sides which would be paid for making it near impossible to obtain a locker in the water park.
  6. Given Movie World has one of the better setups for park entry for a park in Australia there really doesn't need to be another entrance for just pass holders when the main entrance is more than capable. The studio gate would be more than ideal for the sale of backwards rivals and maybe even video and photos. Having the backwards being sold there would help with guest confusion I have seen when it comes to accessing the backwards row when there is nobody near the ride selling the bands. A basic sign saying ride entry one direction and viewing area/backwards purchase the other would help even more.
  7. Not really a bad guess saying the park had a plan b incase they have ended up where they are now. Any smart park operator would have had something planned for this scenario.
  8. Go to the scrap yard where it will be taken and I am sure you can grab enough pieces to build part of it again if people are desperate enough to re ride it.
  9. I'd wager some sort of automobile to get between the two parks. It really isn't that long between the two, only around 1h 40 minutes from Dreamworld to Aussie World.
  10. If that photo was good enough to share I would hate to see the bad shots!
  11. Only once, last night due to it being dark. Whilst it is great have no inclination to pay $10 to ride it again.
  12. The whole kids area is due for an overhaul and reconfiguration. Surely they could add a small building if they were to keep it inside although surely shade sails would be enough. The river ride really needed to be replaced with a whole family dark ride. That being said people keep going on about a soaring style ride in one of our parks, the question I have is would one fit in what's remaining of the river ride shed? That would allow for a whole family ride replacement whilst allowing the driving school to stay parked where it is.
  13. I can confirm it is as it was before it went down for maintenance however this afternoon it was walk so not all bad.
  14. Sadly it is the society we seem to live in now.
  15. Am I the only one who finds it weird a guy taking photos of kids automatically raises questions but someone female would get a pass
  16. Here's the original video for that which includes links to other things they have done. Biggest issue I would have with it is it would be a once and not return thing. I can appreciate what they are trying to do but outside of bringing others to see it there is no real appeal to me to visit multiple times.
  17. Was told at Magic Mountain to keep a few dollars on me in case of issues with lockers but given the pocket nazi that wouldn't be an option here.
  18. First and most important question how long at each? Which part of California? You say summer but which summer? Ours or theirs?
  19. Been summed up by others but a visual example of why digital doesn't count compared to GT
  20. Sydney IMAX was amazing and worth the trip from Brisbane to experience. Heard it will still be the worlds largest just slightly smaller and no more 70mm, it is going to be IMAX Laser. Seems most of the film cinemas are going to laser projection. Melbourne has the only proper IMAX in Australia at the moment (digital doesn't count) with their laser system at the museum.
  21. I would check the app out but don't own a toy phone. Good to see the parks offering an app. Anyone able to say how it compares to the Disneyland/Six Flags apps?
  22. This thread is why people shouldn't get their news from a radio stations Facebook posting.
  23. Quite a few parks advertise the fact that the water park is free with admission so don't see why this couldn't be done here. Sure they lose a gate but they gain a "now includes" for single day entry to Dreamworld.
