To be fair, the Channel 7 news story was just reporting on the delusional Victorian MP that thinks Disney should build a park in Frankston. Their choice of soundbites from the locals set the tone from them. They can't have opinions in news reporting, so the best they can do is report on the MP and get the locals to say it's dumb.

maybe i interpreted it differently but for me, it seems like to enter the queue for the rides you need to go to the emerald city and then walk into the castle where you can choose from in there? So you will need to be in the plaza for the land to get onto the rides then you exit back into the Emerald City where you can walk back into the castle (Queue lines) and reselect what ride you want

@rappa Zooming in on site plan the red line is the entrance/yellow brick road and it looks like the blue (former AA entrance) is the entry to this room mentioned in the video. Unless it’s an emergency exit?

Nowhere in that video does it show anyone using a side door to skip anything. Nobody is skipping the theming and being spat out in the land after.

Exactly. Which is why the main entrance to the land being by Superman is ridiculous. If they used the alley way you’d get to follow the full yellow brick road, get the wow factor and then head to the left and into the ride entrances

What a ridiculous layout. So basically they keep the side door from arkham that skips half the queue, you walk in, do the pre show, line up for the coasters, ride, then get spat out at emerald city? You'd figure you want guests walking through that big rainbow entrance into your new $50 million land with the fancy building and decorated paths as a good first impression, rather than being spat out in it after you queue for an hour and ride. People design better land layouts in planet coaster You'd think they'd shut that side door but they might not even do that

Fuji Q is quicker by coach because its up in the mountains, and the bus goes via expressways, whereas the train winds all over the place, costs more and you have to change trains along the way. I'd heard a while back that a 2nd one was going to park somewhere in Mexico, so this would be it. It appears Vekoma make two styles of mine train track. The full sized ones are like Big Thunder in Paris, Choco Chip Creek etc. Wheels on the inside of the track. The other type is more like their junior coaster track, but with the spine set down a bit to allow fake wooden sleepers to be bolted on. Wheels on the outside of the track. The latter is what you can see has been delivered to Vidanta World.
