  1. Today
  2. i may be wrong but i’m pretty sure SE closed before flash. also, maybe i just didn’t notice it but it looked like Superman’s cable for the launch wasn’t attached.
  3. What has gone wrong with Flash... seems like they're doing another train rebuild. (photos jaggs) I wonder if this is why SE is closed...
  4. I've only seen it in NSW, but the Aquarium have their own container thing, and Taronga being the government entity they are, have a dedicated return and earn in the eateries where the money goes straight to the park
  5. Yesterday
  6. I went on it last night. It was an awesome, nostalgic experience. She’s a little bit clunky but that’s expected for old carnival rides. I’m just grateful we still have one here in Australia. I took some videos and they let me record on the ride so I’ll post the link once I’m finished editing.
  7. Anyone thinking foxwell road is anything other than a complete clusterf*ck during peak periods of the day has never tried to travel in any direction to or from it.
  8. I sense this was directed . Small win in the tunnel . I’m so glad the others are gone. Jaggs is not always reliable but he said that with confidence they were permanent. The tunnel where they remain I think resemble the issue with the park . The theming is very very patchy everywhere . Still a lot of work to be done before even get to what a theme park should be .
  9. Last week
  10. Time will tell if the money saved on IP goes into production/staffing/atmosphere improvements or simply improves their P&L
  11. And I see that as a good thing, in recent years the IP mazes have been underwhelming and the non-IP have been so much better. And honestly, I wouldn’t mind if they did that for years to come. Save the money on the license and invest that money into creating actually good mazes and not whatever the shitshow that the DCeased m̶a̶z̶e̶ walkthrough is.
  12. Really seems they have gone the cheap option with 5 non-IP mazes (yes DCeased is an IP but it’s one they already own, so not costing them anything). I was underwhelmed with all 3 of the returning mazes when I saw them 2 years ago, it’s crazy they are now rehashed a 3rd time.
  13. My god this year feels like it will be cheaper than ever. Hoepfully i’m wrong…
  14. i’ve also noticed Wild West Falls is no longer open this year, neither are the wizard of oz coasters, meaning only 5 attractions will be open this year.
  15. Very simple design philosophy. Want the theming to look good? Make sure it's all written in the same design language!
  16. Step beyond the stairs and into the bowels of terror. Beneath the infamous Hotel of Horrors lies something far darker, the Krypt of Kain. Once the site of ritualistic killings, it’s basement now festers with twisted fiends, feeding and multiplying. Step beyond the stairs and into the bowels of terror… but beware, few ever return. i am very excited for a sequel of House of Kain, i wonder if this one will be in the WB Showcase stage like the original.
  17. Then you issue is with the side roads and the is out of DW's hands.
  18. Eternal looks like it's going to be Zombies in space suites. Zombies are never scary and always suck.
  19. so there will be no IP mazes this year besides DCeased i’m assuming? eternal dark looks interesting, it’s either going to be really good or DCeased level bad.
  20. Frequently at park close time, the highway is just as bad as the connector roads surrounding it. If you could at least get out of the carpark you could choose to spend time waiting for the congestion to ease on the highway by visiting other nearby establishments.
  21. Beware… once inside, you may be lost in the void forever. The spacecraft Eternal has returned, but what came back is no longer human. Once a beacon of exploration, the derelict spacecraft now drifts in silence, its halls pulsing with alien infection. Inside, half-human crew members, stalk the corridors in search of fresh hosts. Step aboard... if you dare! https://frightnights.com.au/mazes/eternal-dark
  22. You want to drive past the entry to the M1 and go to the shop/movies because you don't want to sit in traffic after you already achieved your goal of reaching the M1 entry.
  23. Some of the bins have containers for change branding stating they donate proceeds to the DWF from memory
  24. Kudos to the designer of those particular items for sure!
  25. Honestly - there's plenty of good reasons to expediate exit from the DW carpark. if you can get past that roundabout you have options before trying to get onto the M1 - dine locally at one of the many dining precincts in and around Coomera, go shopping on certain days, see a movie if you're really keen on avoiding the peak hour traffic - it doesn't all have to be about getting on the M1 - it just has to get you past the roadblock.
  26. Whats the point of leaving the car park earlier if you are sitting on the side streets the same amount of time you are sitting in the car park? The Government has a future plan for a M1 overpass at Beattie Road.
