  1. It’s been a great eight days of the Perth Royal Show, except for yesterday’s storm where they actually closed the show early, I think most ride operators did really well over the course of the week. We hope to see just as good a line up next year. Today was my fourth visit in 10 days.

  2. The new Disney Skyliner has had some gondola cars collide at the Riviera Resort Station, with guests slowly being evacuated

  3. Forgot to mention the log ride is also down for maintenance. Good to see Dreamworld continuing the trend of adding custom signs for each ride during maintenance.

  7. Ok, so I made a mistake since I don’t post here often. You could’ve simply said that straight up instead of being a smartass about it. If I could edit the post, I would. So I’ll add the credit here to please you. https://cruisingtheparks.com/2019/10/05/breaking-incident/

  9. Those translucent sections will be awesome. I know of another water park that has these sections and they do add the to the sensation of speed.

  11. Just the concept of Six Flags Cedar Point is enough to send a shiver up your spine. Crazy times that they made that offer. Spare a thought for Larson though who nearly sold like 12 more Loops.

  13. I can confirm that the Shell seating was removing for an event. Because the amphitheater has been demolished, this is where presentation events are now held @MickeyD the water is like that because they had had the fountains turned off for a while

  14. The building where Abyss is now was the old change rooms. There was an empty section that was also used for mazes, like Prison Break. Yeah, the old toboggan and monorail were at the bottom of the pic. The castle lake had the peddle boats, with a miniature train going around it. The castle was a lookout and a one-time haunt attraction. AW does own some extra land, although turbo mountain was on the western side of the pic(towards the coast). Beat me to it @A.H

  15. That building was the orginal Toilet block I believe. Monorail and toboggan were removed later in 2005 and Replaced by Super 6 aqua racer (Now tidal wave), and Sea serpents in 2006. Castle was a viewing tower and the lake had paddle boats. Yes?

  16. Single seater pedal boat thing. My favourite ride at the park when I was very young. It was placed in and amongst trees with one attendant and you did a lap and off you hopped. I remember the water being rather murky and the creek was quite skinny. Last ride circa 2007 (for me) And some more questions.. What is that building situated where the abyss would be put in? Is that the toboggan I see where kraken and sea serpents are now? Did the now non existent castle lake ever house anything? Does AW own that land above turbo mountain on the eastern side of the pic?

  18. It's odd how a company with such a large number of parks is worth so little.
