  1. I would like to see HWSD2 put out with the trash.

  2. I think its a stretch to imply their review is biased because of a couple passes, which to be fair, any guest can buy. I think the fact that they mention at the very end “love to see the operations improved even more” shows they were prepared to be critical where they found it warranted (eg stunt show) but overall had a very positive experience at the park. Sometimes fresh eyes are nice to look through, especially ones that are well traveled.

  3. Everything is lovely when the park showers you with fast passes. But even the Free Fast Passes didn't stop TPWW from mentioning how bad MW operations are.😂

  4. This is 100% not the reason why Buzzsaw was sold and there’s no rule as such as @Gazzaexplained. Ifffff it had to go to Movie World, why not up near Wild West Fall’s drop area? You could finally expand the west area and make use of what is a strange dead end path, and you could easily theme it to a whacky blacksmith perpetual energy device or something. Honestly, the DC fatigue is real, I just don’t think we need anymore DC anything for a hot minute.

  5. I know @iwerks touched earlier. But I wanna thank Adventure World for also Inviting myself out to the ERT to ride with the Europoean Coaster club today. Was great to see so many like minded people and have some fun on Abyss. The park also invited Chanel 7 out to do a story on it and also provided free lockers, a reserved group space and soft drinks to the club. Which I thought was super nice. Senior management was also at the ride thanking people and asking for their thoughts etc. Overall an amazing day. Side note: Was interesting hearing their thoughts on the park and how confused they were by the amount of lush green space and amount of people bringing shade tents and picnic blankets to a park. and to quote "This is very weird seeing people ride roller coasters soaking wet and in bathers." Im also glad they got to experience Goliath and Rampage. (Which most said was the most intense flat ride they have ever done) and Goliath being one of the best Gyro Swings in the world and a truly world class flat ride.

  6. I'd like to see the seating area of WB Showcase turned into a Maverick themed Madhouse.

  8. Slight nitpick, the white wristbands are not the same as Fast Track available for purchase, they are unlimited use and only issued for "VIPs" (whilst paid Fast Track is one use per ride). Have to agree though that I don't think it impacted their review and it was a nice reminder that whilst we can all be critical of our local parks they are great as they are.

  9. I really liked the review. I think it's quite easy to criticise our home parks because we literally see them all of the time. I do enjoy the positivity of Theme Park Worldwide. If I keep the positive vibes going we are lucky to have a world class rollercoaster with the Hypercoaster, an unbelievably well themed ride with Wild West Falls and a top notch coaster with Superman. The other thread is discussing what Movieworld could do to enhance their ride offering, but if they can find a way to add another thrill coaster and use some of the show buildings to further enhance ride offerings over the next 5 years that would make even more of a difference.

  10. It looks like you could def fit a mad house into the front of the show stage. As for a coaster in the grandstand part, scaling off another family coaster, i think you could fit about this much in there:

  12. You could do both in one year, sort of like how DW opened Buzzsaw and Shockwave in one year. If it were to move, you could do it here and as SF has demonstrated, virtually any super hero theme can be applied to anything. Aquaman PowerWave? Cyborg? Harley Quinn?

  13. Can you show some examples to prove half of everything DW say "is total BS marketing spin"? And maybe define what you deem as 'BS marketing spin', because others may have a different perception of what 'BS marketing spin' is.

  14. Our last big woodie - Bush Beast - was located in the Gold Rush section of Wonderland, which opened an hour later than the rest of the park. I remember often watching the carpenters walking the hills and bashing away with a hammer here and there even at 10:45 before they ran some test cycles. Those guys started morning checks at around 4am (though, they had two woodies to inspect) It takes time.

  15. In case it wasn't clear - big coasters like this that are impossible to block out the outside world from DO NOT NEED on ride theming, they just need to be a great ride. Hagrid's says hello. I tell you - I miss having the stamina of 20 year olds. Full day at park, then come home and mash together footage into a 20-ish minute vlog. Between TPWW and The Sanbrooke Adventures, their upload frequency whilst still on an overseas trip is mindblowing.

  18. I'm reposting this here to hopefully clarify so that everyone is on the same page. Day-to-day unexpected closures or stoppages are of no interest to the vast majority, unless it's in the context of a new attraction, a sidenote in a larger trip report, or a significant occurrence. Notice how there's generally no interesting responses to these minute-by-minute screenshots of maintenance page updates? If you have something specific and interesting to discuss, like Leviathan's ongoing issues or The Wedgie/Fully 6 being closed for a long time, feel free to post in the main Theme Park Discussion forum, just make sure it's in a specific topic dedicated to discussing it. Take two minutes before posting something. Think critically. Are your posts contributing to a meaningful discussion? Are you directly replying to what others are discussing in the topic? Are you accompanying photos, links or screenshots with some sort of new information, opinion or additional questions that will further the discussion? If it's not directly related to what's being posted then it probably belongs in a different topic. If you're starting a new topic, make sure it's specific and will spark conversation. And if you are finding that no one is directly responding to your posts, it might be a sign to reconsider or find a way to make it more interesting. Sorry if there's been any confusion about the sort of discussion we want to foster, or where it should be posted.
