  1. Missed opportunity MDMC should be moved into this shed. Add some half working flashing lasers and now we have Mick Doohan’s Spooky Coaster!

  2. My first thought here was 'don't be ridiculous, that'd have dreamworks characters in the middle of ocean parade, worlds away from their themed land... then I remembered it was dreamworld.

  4. A ridiculous idea. In what world are Motor GP races indoors? How does that make sense? What theming are you putting indoors? Will it be dark? If not, what is the point?

  6. I promise it's still coming! I had to rework the itinerary as there was one day where the drive was much longer than permitted for the bus driver, after a day of thought I really didn't like the alternative I had created. The new itinerary is actually based on a longer trip, removing Orlando and adding some Pennsylvania parks. Basically works out as Atlanta - Pittsburg for Tour A (this is completely aligned with QLD school holidays as there are a lot of family-friendly parks) Tour B is Sandusky - Dallas (and an optional San Antonio/Houston extension will be discussed). The only parks removed f

  8. You're really starting to shit me. You make a lot of broad reaching statements, but you never provide any support for them. A lot of them could be true, but without citation or support, it could very well just be your own assumptions, which you present as fact. The Maurer Rides website still lists Skyloops \ Skywheels (XT450, XT150) on their website under 'specials'. The same section lists: Drives Inclined / Vertical / Up-side-down Lift and LSM Launch Vehicles 2- / 4- / 6-seater as well as coupled single vehicles and trains Restraints T-Bar, Lap-Bar (X-Seat I), Overhe

  9. Funnily I really like Buzzsaw, though it was much better when it first launched and went through 2 rotations. Find the harnesses great, the off your seat experience in the vertical to upside-down transition to be second to none (must do without holding on), and it packs some great speed coming out of the roll into the dive.

  11. wow an events space. Brilliant. Cant wait never have a reason to go their unless my company books a function there. They arent even trying with that post. Best to have just said Brock was finishing up and at least lead people on about what it might become. Now we know its an empty room that converts for events. haha Take away tower or terror for a sexy new events space. Take away wipeout for a crazy new events space. Make the lego store a day care. Seriously though, whats next? Make the cinema a low cost half arsed version of Disneys Soar'n... Oh wait ;)..

  12. There is nothing fundamentally wrong with Wet'n'Wild Sydney. Village Roadshow simply aren't in a position to be able to invest the time, capital and corporate/cultural changes it requires. Across the board Village are in a dire situation and need to be shedding debt and loss-making ventures. For $40-odd million this is a fairly safe bet for any company with experience in the theme park industry. Parques Reunidos have expanded globally quite aggressively despite falling under the radar compared to say Merlin. It's really not as left-field as you'd think. And you'd have to imagine that they

  13. Mark Gordon Maintenance fitter/welder Employed at the park since 2011 Mr Gordon isn’t aware of any risk assessments that has been completed on TRR. Mr Gordon is also aware of the unload e-stop button. Mr Gordon isn’t aware of whether the unload e-stop was ever checked. Mr Gordon advised he didn’t check the air pressure in the rafts as the air pressure gauge wasn’t available. Mr Gordon stated that he would check the air pressure by stepping on the raft tube to get a rough estimate. Pit and Sherry auditors were in the park on the day of the incident

  17. Unsure if this fence is related to Buzzsaw, however I think Buzzsaw will remain closed for a very long time. For unknow reasons Maurer no longer makes any rides that contain: * X-Train * Lap Bars * Vertical Lifts It seems interesting that they still make all the other coasters though. Dreamworld are probably now scratching their heads as what do we do with it because they have learnt that they need to have the manufacturer approve design modifications and assist with annual maintenance as well as provide specific parts to fix the ride. Could be a long time before we get to
