From these photos it looks like the splash down will be near the stairs that lead up to the slide or a slide piece just been put there for now? I still can't fully tell where the queue line will be positioned at this stage. So far I'm impressed with the slide though.

^I actually think that as well. I think those photos make the slide look a little out of place. Maybe if we had a photo showing the entire site, it may not look as bad.

Agreed...people forget that if you turn a phone sideways you get a wide shot.

In terms of access there is a flat walkway that branches from the existing stairs on the tower.

It seems like all the GC parks these days are going out of their way to build within existing pre-built boundaries rather than expanding and making the individual parks essentially larger or creating new lands. It's a shame really. All of the parks could do with it, especially WhiteWater World which is so small. We know the plans were there but they have been ditched in favour of cheaper in-filling. I should say Sea World may be an exception when they utlilise the reclaimed lake.

Are you saying an extension has been added to the tower?

I didn't even take any notice of the extension to the tower: post-29557-0-87588700-1409627060_thumb.j

Can anyone tell if they have added a new set of stair, because I can see something to the left of the platform, but can't fully tell?

Time to get your update on.

Quick overlook at the progress.

If I had to take an educated guesstimate, you'll probably be spending a long time here.

Blue paths! Get it? Ocean Parade? It's actually all coming together really nicely.

Plenty more park-wide updates, click this bit and read all about it.

You guys might enjoy this, too.

And this.

hey slick could you post your latest update on this forum. i get to the first photo and the that's the only one that comes up. (would like to see your photos since they are always amazing.) :D

I've checked it through a few different browsers and my iPhone and it seems to render the 3 photos and the videos okay? Are you running on Android? Perhaps that's a Richard thing to look into.

And thanks for your kind words. I will say though the last two Tailspin updates (26th & 29th respectively) were submitted by a contributor (cheers Shireen) and meagrely touched up and captioned poorly by yours truly. ;)

I haven't been on one of these before, but what I like is how unlike Pandaemonium, where there is the hard and soft styles and there is alternations between them. On this ride both the adrenaline junkies and kids can go on it at the same time and go to the limits they want to. Even if you didn't want to spin upside down, I think the ride will be quite good with the large swinging arm. It doesn't look like the ride will be a spin-n-spew if you didn't spin your plane. The ride also seems to provide that missing link between Zombie Evilution and it fitting into Ocean Parade. The arm on Tail Spin seems to have a similar texture/feel to it as Zombie Evilution, while it has the beach hut look, that Wipeout has.
