  1. Just got off the first ride to the public, can confirm it is the same cycle we have seen in videos. Fountains don’t rise. the flips are insanely fun, I have forgotten how big these Huss rides actually are when I haven’t seen them in a while. I think the cycle is fine for opening as they’ll want to get through as many as possible. just needs more upside down moments and full speed loops because the thing can hammer when they get going. all in all, the area is cool! Glad I got to be one of the first.

  4. Maybe it is, and the coaster is the "wild ride" you have in the room. Also accurate you leave 2 minutes later.

  5. Yesterday the ride was running very efficiently. There were at least three ride ops at all times. The queue was non existence yesterday, didn’t have to wait more than five minutes to ride. The exit is still a confusing mess of stairs and ramps.

  9. From what I’ve seen, I think my mine criticism would be there is no ambient sounds playing. All you hear are the motors of the ride, but what about dramatic music as you walk through the entrance and around the ride? Creature of the Deep had some great sounds playing as you walked through the area. Just bring those back if you want to me cheap

  11. I don't think 6 weeks will help if the prior 11 months of schooling failed

  12. 6 weeks off school seems a good time to do some work on that.

  14. Confirmed launch tomorrow, couple of key quotes from the article: Mr Randhawa said the ride offered thrillseekers a dramatically different experience to other attractions. “It has three different speeds and it is a really immersive experience because once you are elevated there is water all around you,” Mr Randhawa said. https://www.goldcoastbulletin.com.au/news/gold-coast/theme-parks-vortex-ride-opens-in-sea-worlds-50-million-new-atlantis-precinct/news-story/ac758598dfa57736116b3cf6fc6a5363

  15. I think that Redline has been removed prior to when The Monster course was introduced for Halloween last year.

  16. The original wildcat opened in 1927. It was rebuilt in 1986 by the same guys who built the Beast at Kings Island in 1979, and all of them ran PTC trains. Wildcat was given a Martin and Vleminckx overhaul in the 2016\2017 season, and Beast is still operating today too. No matter which way you slice it, Wooden coasters have lasted longer than you're allowing for the Bush Beast. It opened in 1985, having been built that same year. Remember this is a hypothetical question that assumes Sunway took care of the park. If Wildcat can last from 1927 to 1986 with only ordinary (not overhauled) maintenance before a rebuild, and if the rebuild by Dinn and Summers (the guys who built the KI Beast) in 1986 lasted until 2016 when M&V (the guys responsible for Leviathan at Sea World) came along to overhaul it, then why couldn't Bush Beast have received similar treatment from RMC? RMC did New Texas Giant in 2011. 1985-2011 is a shorter period than 1986-2016...?

  18. Do we get to pull the government funding for providing indigenous cultural experiences now? Maybe they can knock down the cave and rename the area Rio Tinto Land

  20. That seems unlikely my guess is that they will announce the ride to close after white Christmas then start demolition then start dropping hints about its replacement late next year then early 2022 they will announce the ride then begin construction and then the ride should realistically if all this happens in that time frame It should open late 2022 or early 2023 don’t count me on that just guessing
